None of the laws passed after Sandyhook have any hope of making things safer. Those laws were passed so scum bags in office can pander to the low wattage voters who wanted SOMETHING to be done and so those scumbags can harass people who voted against them in the last election. Vegas is right those laws are about CONTROL but they have nothing to do with diminishing CRIME

Nope that is not my goal. I have REPEATEDLY offered compromises. The pro gun side simply refuses to compromise

Also there is a requirement that I list all my guns including magazines in my possession. Again NO! The more I read this thing the more it sucks! There is an additional requirement that I must tell them where and how the gun is stored. SOUNDS MORE LIKE AUSTRALIA THEN AMERICA!
Interestingly but not surprisingly, it doesn't appear that convicted felons and other prohibited persons can be prosecuted under either law.
I have sold many guns from my collection over the years and have my means of subtle interrogation; I have twice refused a sale. I have records, driver's licenses, etc. of every sale. If the NICS was open to me, I would have used it. I will not go to a third party and pay for a BC.
