Who must register with the Selective Service System in case Uncle Sam decides to draft them into the U.S. Army, send them to exotic distant lands, meet exciting and unusual people . . . and kill them.

Almost all male U.S. citizens and male immigrants, who are 18 through 25, are required to register with Selective Service.

 

This issue has nothing to do with US citizens or immigrants it has all to do with illegal aliens. Why? The OP has illegal aliens in his title.

 

The Trump administration hasn't gotten around replacing the words "undocumented immigrants" with the words "illegal alien" yet.

It took the Obama administration more than a few years to replace "illegal alien" with "undocumented immigrant" on all government websites and publications.

Back before Obama became President the SSA, IRS and SSS websites all used the words "illegal aliens."

 

That does not affect my response one iota. The OP is talking about illegal aliens so that is what my response addresses.

I have stated on this forum multiple times I am an immigrant that means legal and I am a citizen. I will always take any OP over the coals who confuses the two - legal immigrant with illegal aliens.

1. That statement is true with some laws but laws contradict each other sometimes, federal and state laws overlap/disagree, and as we've clearly seen sometimes laws aren't followed at all. So if you want to use that as a concrete end all statement then you are doing a disservice to the truth.

2. Illegals are on welfare, ok? Its just a fact. We've seen them on welfare, we've seen them on Obamacare, we've seen them getting EITC, we've seen them collecting social security disability, and the list goes on.These are facts and if you don't think they are then do yourself a favor and get educated.

The GAO report uncovered in Illinois, energy assistance given to an applicant who used the identities of two deceased family members to qualify for the funds. In New Jersey, the program gave assistance to a nursing home whose director claimed to represent eight patients residing in the facility, but whose care was already covered by Medicaid.

GAO investigators posed as prospective LIHEAP recipients by producing bogus addresses, fabricating energy bills and pay stubs when applying for assistance. And they got paid!

Some applicants submitted phony social security numbers or misleading income information. One social security number was for a dead person, and it had been used in 25 different applications.

The comptroller launched the inquiry into the program after it got a tip that the Puerto Rican Action Board, a private, nonprofit social service agency in Middlesex County, was "cutting corners" to enrollment quotas. Some applicants received benefit without having to document their income.

I was sort of joking. I really think your suggestion on how to deal with illegal immigrants is a good one. It would be a great deterrent. People would have to think twice before they break the law. Both Americans and illegal immigrants. I would also make sure that Americans involved in dealings with illegal immigrants pay heavy financial fines.

You should fact check your posts.

1. The free phones available in the program are generally 4 or five generations old. They aren't brand new smart phones. Those can be purchased but they have to pay market price for them

2. Each phone gets something like 25 minutes PER MONTH for free. That's it. Any usage above that requires you to purchase more minutes at market price.

The truth is that it's not the major government freebie you would have us believe it to be.

 

Do you know American history? The Founders didn't grant birthright citizenship. The 14th Amendment did on July 9, 1868. It was written to grant citizenship to black people. The SCOTUS extended it to the Chinese in the 1890s.

 

Long before that it was well understood just what "natural born" meant.

That is true, but sometimes undocumented immigrants have legal children, who can be eligible for benefits. Those benefits are issued in the parent's name.

 

I don't know how it could be clearer: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the State wherein they reside.

With the right valid SSN that can pass muster with its possible to get food stamps I only had to apply online and have my SSN, if they do inquire further high quality false ID is enough to evade the government pencil pushers. And if caught they walk out and can move and try again. The government is so big one hand often doesn't know what the other hand is doing.

 

Which is the exact reason they exploit. Have children, guarantee you can't get deported because you can't break up the so called family. The anchor baby law when written was not intended to give sanctuary to millions who rush the border illegally while pregnant to have free babies and instant welfare. Why else do they do it? NOT working here is a better life than working in Mexico. It's just the sad state of affairs because Hispanics basically fail at running nations. Look at central and South America. Besides small pockets of tourist areas, it's one huge pit. Even Brazil was supposed to be the shinning example that a Latin culture could be successful and its imploding.

The culture is a failure and we're Importing them by the millions. And where we eventually get converted over we will be a failure as well. It's inevitable.
