And today Schiff said they DO have evidence and we also got proof Manafort was being paid by Russia to promote their interests. Hmm maybe trump was too?

As Katrina Pierson stated the other day, Trump is three steps ahead of these people. They obviously believe their own spin by depicting Trump as being random while most of what he does is very calculated.

I hope Schiff doesn't think the WAPO or Huffington Post is 'evidence material'.

I find it hard to believe that the Democrats are still obsessed with pushing the Russian conspiracy. It will end up blowing up in their faces when nothing ever comes of it and they have nothing else to run on.

That seems to go against the statements of Comey and Rogers.

There's no question that Manafort was paid by the Russians.

That fact is still not proof of collusion, but it does add a lot more dots to start connecting

There was incidental surveillance of Obama during the Obama Administration as well. Something like 1800 phone calls. You make an overseas telephone call, you can bet your bottom dollar the NSA has it in their database.

All surveillance without a court order should be illegal. It took activist judges to overturn the right to privacy. If president trump were any kind of president at all he would roll back NDAA and the Patriot act which have been added to by both the democrats and republicans. Possibly one of the worst court rulings in our lifetimes and a blatant violation of the US constitution.

Manafort was fired in August well before the election.

Manafort has been paid by the Russian since 2005. I think Trump should have known that.

So was Podesta and many other democrats. What's your point? Some people should take the money and others aren't allowed to take the money? There is no difference between Podesta and Manafort. As a matter of fact Podesta is worse.

Because Podesta prostituted himself to many different foreign powers over the years. Over the years he spent more times lobbying for foreigners instead of working for Americans. A fraud.

That's only true as far as it goes. It took conservatives in Congress to do it. The USA Freedom Act was something that the right wing cheered loudly for. That was the start down the slippery slope.

Nunes says that there were incidental pickups of contacts between Trumpites and Russians. The recordings were made under court authority. Anything gathered on people not included included in the court order can not be used in a court of law. Think of it this way. A judge gives the police authority to tap a mafia boss's phone to investigate a kidnapping. You call up inquiring about the cost to have a dead horse's head deposited in your neighbor's bed while he sleeps. Your call can never be used against you in court nor to obtain a warrant on you but you can bet they'll be watching for you around the stables.
A congressional inquiry is not a court of law. They can look at legally and illegally obtained information. Congress does not put people in prison. A good example is Watergate. The evidence presented Congress to impeach Nixon was not the same as the evidence used in the criminal trials. If it was then Oliver North would still be in prison. Had Nixon not resigned first then the same evidence used against him in the impeachment would have been available to the Senate during the trial stage.
Nune's "bombshell" is a dud. It does however, put his committee under a cloud now. Is he there to seek out the truth or there to promote Trump's agenda?

Perhaps examine Nunes second interview ... CNN / Tapper. Nunes when asked if he were politicizing, had a rather refreshingly candid response. McCain is also asking for an independent committee. Likely the outcome of this whole circus. Think the DNC wants their "Benghazi" moment ahead of 2018. It's political, it always has, and will be. It's what they do in DC.

I also want an independent committee, it's the only way this conspiracy can effectively be put to rest and have the likes of Warren, Sanders and Pelosi do their jobs. Like it or not, he's their president and they need to return to standard operations, lest they want to be disliked 100-0% by the entire country. Congress is already on shaky waters.
