    Yup......
    it is probably thirty years ago that I was watching the evening news.....

    They showed the male brain at work as shown by the most up to date
    electronic imaging device..... Basically.... . most of the activity in the male brain was in one spot.....
    in one of the hemispheres.......

    The female brain that was shown though was all lit up.... both hemispheres......

    I was in awe watching my wife marketing roses in Ecuador in Spanish, German and English......
    by phone, email.... chat messenger........ and taking dictation for letters.......
    If my life depended on it ... .I don't think I could multitask very well......
    but she is astonishing......

    My wife and I have a few simple rules we follow and it has worked for us.
    1) we have separate bank accounts, I pay the bills, she buys the food.
    2) if she says "can we talk", shut the effin TV off and give her your full attention.
    3) try to give each other a few days notice if planning on hunting, golfing, etc.
    4) try to do as much together as a family that you can, my wife likes going to garage sales, antiques, and the festivals like Sherwood where people are Larping.
    5) Answer honestly when she asks the inevitable question, "do you think she's pretty?" Answer honestly bit find some flaw...For instance, Julia Roberts is pretty, but her mouth is too big for her face.

    I'm celebrating my 28th anniversary in May to the woman that has blessed me with 5 children, her love and patience... I could not have found a better partner.

    Well big surprise! What a revelation! Girls want a man with resources? Wow!

    Of course, women will be looking for someone who can provide them saftey and protection. It is evolutionary. This however does not necessarily mean that all women look for big wallets and shiny cars. They just don't care for some unambitious slacker with no goals or resources.

    In the same way, men look for beauty. Men are "beauty-diggers" and any girl who percieves she doesn't get as much attention as the other girls, will start to think she is ugly. Just like men who don't get attention start to accuse women of being gold-diggers.

    You were doing so well until you mentioned ending capitalism and class society. :p

    Also, I find the word "adorable" a terrible way to describe a person. Kitties and puppies are adorable and maybe also children. But describing a man as "adorable" is closer to an insult than a compliment imo. :p

    Hm. I thought women just want compliments and to be the center of attention 24/7. It's worked in all my relationships, and the only time I've ever been dumped is when I quit stroking said girl's ego.

    Never said you can't desire that type of guy. I just said that I always had the idea that girls used the word "adorable" for guys they don't wish to,..ehm...shag.
