As a Raider fan I was hoping Kaepernuts would sign with Denver, but the better outcome would be seeing him flip burgers. lol

You mean the half of the nation that found what he did unacceptable while more or less ignoring actual criminals being given second chances in the NFL? Funny how Kap is treated as a criminal for a peaceful protest but an actual criminal like Michael Vick found himself on the Eagles for 4 seasons after the dogfighting incident. Or how Greg Hardy beat his girlfriend up but still had a roster spot on the Cowboys. Or how Pacman Jones is causing so much trouble and still gets to play. Or how the Saints are actually considered Johnny Football despite his love of partying excessively, lying about partying, drug use and fighting his girlfriend.

I guess Kaep needs to have a felony on his record before teams think about signing him again, huh?

Unless you're Josh McCown who 1-12 in the last 2 years and now plays for the Jets. Or some other mediocre backup.

I'm sure McCown didn't ask for or get millions.

$6 million for one year. At the Browns he had 3 years for $14 million.

I surrender the money thing, mea culpa. By paying those salaries to McCown could it be the reason those teams sucked or was the overall 53 man roster another reason for suckage or all of the above? No QB with top credentials could win in Cleveland in the years since they rebirthed.

kaepernick is a pretty good quarterback, but everywhere he goes a thunderstorm follows. I wouldn't want the man on my team. Why would any team want the added headache? The man gave millions of Americans the finger and he is experiencing payback...good for him.

Looking at some of the other people on the roster, they should've had more success than in past years. Although maybe if Belichick were the head coach in Cleveland they could do something.

Between his "not first string" material, his drama with a large portion of the fan base, problems heard about him the locker room and the insane amount of money he wants to top it off.

Why is anyone surprised or defending this guy not being on a team yet? This is pretty obvious stuff here

He could also make a fat living out of joining with creatures like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton on the "Aggrieved, Endlessly Downtrodden Blacks" team of whiners, showing up to raise hell every time some Black criminal is taken out by a policeman somewhere....

One of the players from the Browns explained Kaepernick is too much of a distraction. We sit on the sidelines, and we cheer for murders, rapists, and women beaters, but we draw the line at a guy who won't stand up for a song--a plagiarized tune whose original lyrics praised drinking and sex. I'd rather be called anti-American than stand in unison with morons.

Sure. If a bakery can be shut down for not making a wedding cake then he doesn't have to be hired for not being an American. Fair?

He can play another sport or do something else just like the gay cpuple could have driven across the street and bought a cake.

On top of this, I seem to remember how Eagles fans felt when they signed Michael Vick to a 1-year deal with him fresh out of jail, then almost sorta forgot about the dogfighting charges when he had that good year in 2010 and from then on until age started catching up and he couldn't play as well anymore.

But apparently kneeling for the anthem is worse than animal murder, or murder of any sort.

It'll never happen, and I personally can't stand him, but he's built for a quickout TE. Not to mention he loves to run...

It's amazing, believe it or 'patriotic Americans' can do all. The national anthem is hardly superficial. Ever go to a NHL hockey game? The NHL plays both the American and Canadian national anthems when USA and Canadians teams are playing each other. I've been going to NHL games for years and never once have I heard anyone complain about the anthems. Don't like it, take a knee.

See Brandon Cooks, Pats signed him and with NE coaching he'll shine and to top it off he won't be a distraction. Pat's already have TE's more seasoned and also non controversial.

Pats are really weak at the TE spot if Gronk isn't playing in a game. Pats already have a full WR roster. I'm happy with cooks. We'll end up cutting Amendola for the 53 man roster but we'll resign him later- is my guess. That's what coach tends to do.

We need stronger TEs. You know the Pats operate a 2 tight end set right?

The way I see it the Pats make any tight end 2 to 3 times better with Brady at the helm. They signed Stephon Gilmore and he is coming from an offense that didn't use the TE as well or much as the Pats. He will help for sure. I believe that with the draft they will snatch up one there. Good TE's usually go around the 3rd round, great ones go earlier. Correct me if I'm wrong don't the Pats first pick come in the 3rd round?
