Even in reality shows no ever goes to the restroom. The only show I've seen was "Married with Children" where Al was seen leaving his bathroom. Lets face it in a program like 24 you'd figure at least one of the main characters would take at least a shizer or two. It's even worse in reality shows. No one even farts. TV and the media needs to get real.
That's not what I mean. I've had to watch the whole 24 series with my wife. You'd figure someone would have to have at least taken a leak.
Nowadays there is such a thing as pausing one's show you know.. loo? Ohhhh.....They don't have such a thing across the pond?
The first episode of 'Grimm' , Munroe, who's a werewolf, is pissing on his fence, marking his territory.
They only "go" if it fits with the story line. They would have to add on about an hour for each episode just to include all the mundane things of daily life.
Well, Archie Bunker (All in the Family from the 1970s) used to flush the toilet, and then be in the next scene, implying that he had just been to the bathroom. Do you actually want to see evidence of that? I don't, because it's just a boring part of life.
In the show "The Americans" the main character Philip had a prisoner tied up and when the prisoner needed to go to bathroom Philip took him but didn't untie the prisoners hands. Then afterwards it showed Philip wiping the prisoners butt. The view was shown from the front. We didn't see the dirty butt.
Well as much shooting and killing you'd figure that someone would piss in their pants like they do in real life.
In the 1970's comedy "All In the Family", Archie used to go and flush the toilet. It always got great laughs.
All in the family had lots of bathroom stuff, so did Married with Children showing Al Bundy getting something to read and the episode where he builds a Man's bathroom. He also watched TV, Peg watched Oprah.
Toilets, Bundys & TVs go together. You'd never see a detective in SUV run to the br. lol Your post reminded me of the show "Home Improvement" when the dad built that all steel, remote operated mans BR. lol
George was in the habit of taking his shirt off when he went to the bathroom. He's at a party and he gets distracted. Here is part of the episode where they wait to get served at a Chinese restaurant. At one point Jerry says, "This could only happen to you."
Such an autistic hangup! There are lots of things tv-characters do not do like "normal" people have to do in their everyday lives such as doing the laundry, showering, grocery shopping and cooking. Many films and tv-shows lack scenes representing these tasks. Tbh, it would be kind of boring and meaningless to see Liam Neeson at the dentist. We just want to see him kill everyone with his gun. I am more annoyed no tv-/film-character ever goes on Political Forum. I mean what sort of life is that? Surely they have to check the site and update the tab at least 328 times a day. Right? Anyways, if you like tv-characters to go on the loo you should watch South Park. I think pretty much every episode has a scene set in the boy's room lol.
