I recommend you start watching different news sources, so you can get a better idea of reality

 

First, lack of approval does not automatically mean disapproval. The poll that you are trying to reference, the Gallup poll which found Trump at a 36% approval rating, also found Trump at a 57% disapproval rating. So there are 8% who neither approve or disapprove.

And yea, I can apply critical thinking skills to analyze the fundamentals of a poll. I took statistics. I studied political polling while pursuing my bachelors in Political Science. I also recognize that asking whether you approve or disapprove of the job performance by Donald Trump is a fairly straightforward opinion question. And that Gallup is a respectable organization. AND that there are dozens of other agencies also polling his approval rating and the average of his approval ratings is 42%. So a 36% approval rating is perfectly rational.

And yes, the President's approval rating does make sense to me. He is accomplishing shockingly little (the Muslim Ban and Obamacare Repeal and Replace) precisely at a time when he should be accomplishing his biggest achievements. He sends out completely disgraceful messages through a twitter account like accusing his predecessor of a watergate level of criminal behavior (with zero evidence in support), an accusation that was sandwiched between an attack on Nordstroms for dropping his daughter's fashion line and attacking Schwarzenegger for his ratings on the Apprentice. He takes weekly trips to his own private club and has golfed 12 times in 9 weeks - ALSO at his own golf courses. And Trump has embarrassed the country on the international stage like when he handed Merkel a fake $300 euro bill for NATO or when he got into a shouting match with the Mexican and Australian leaders.

As for "watching" I assume you mean TV (I get most of my news from newspapers)...I watch the NEWS HOUR on PBS. They seem to be more balanced than FOX News, CNN, MSNBC or the networks.

The WIIN funding supplements EPA’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF), a federal-state partnership. In addition to the federal funds announced today, the State of Michigan is providing the required 20% match of $20 million. Over the years, EPA has provided more than $32.5 billion to states for infrastructure upgrades through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund.

Under President Trump’s budget blueprint SRF remains fully funded, and the proposal provides robust funding for the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) program to finance critical drinking and wastewater infrastructure.

That's happened 5 times. This isn't something new. Popularity contests are great, but that's not how our founding fathers setup this country. When you go to apply for a job, you don't walk in the door and try to make friends with everyone in the office. You impress the people that matter (much like the states that matter), the hiring managers. Hillary could have won the entire state of California and won the popular vote by 7 million votes. It still means absolutely nothing because she spent too much time in California (a state that's already blue) and not enough with the blue collar hard working Americans in the swing states. She can give herself a huge pat on the back for winning an extra 3 million because she spent her whole campaign there. But that pat on the back is all she gets.
