The biggest myth in the gigantic pantheon of myths surrounding the Israeli-palestinian conflict is that Israel only exists because of US support, and that if we were to pull that support, Israel would be toast in short order.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Were it not for US holding them back, Israel would several decades ago have taken over most or all of Syria and most or all of Egypt, plus huge swaths of Jordan, and would now have a huge buffer zone between them and the genocidal thugs sworn to destroy them.
