    The DNC was hacked in June 2015. Trump didn't even win the Republican primary until June 2016, much less the General election, which was five months later. So how could he collude with the Russians in June of 2015 to beat Clinton in November 2016, when there was no clue who would win the Republican primary which had only just begun?

    Not to mention that liberals have been meddling in Russian politics for twenty years. I'm not saying that meddling in American elections is right. But like Judge Judy always says, you have to have clean hands to bring a complaint. Liberals don't.

    Heh - looks like the Russians were also fooled by the polls as well. I wonder if they were on PF reading the posts here about The Hillary Landslide and got taken in?

    Maybe they were following some of our posters rrrrrreallly closely - one of them named after a president comes to mind. :smile:

    What is especially sad is they do not appear to have the logical skills to realize that anything Putin might independently have done as the leader of his nation does not automatically indict Trump or anyone else in the US.

    Do you realize that the DNC was hacked in June 2015 before the Republican primary field was filled, before anyone knew all the candidates, before anyone was a favorite, and a full year before the Republican primary vote in June of 2016. Much less the general election which was another five months after that. In other words, one can say that Russia was involved. But one cannot say that Trump or anyone else was involved with them.

    Not so, you first two sentences in no way lead to the conclusion of the third sentence. Even Marco Rubio was a target of the Russians during this same time frame.
