I felt the same when the fed withheld money for roads unless states made it illegal for some adults to drink

The US is a sovereign country with borders, and cities protecting illegals - while screwing over their citizens - deserve to have their leadership arrested and imprisoned. EVERY OTHER COUNTRY ON EARTH protects its citizens and deports illegals, with little or no tolerance for them - and the US already accepts OVER 1 MM legal immigrants per year - more than the rest of the world combined.

The country is no longer willing to accept subsidizing the corporate elite hiring them, or paying for their free medical care/public schooling. These cities' policies need to be fixed, or there will be riots. Wait until the next economic downturn, which could be around the corner - and I think we will see native citizens coming out armed against the illegals, this is angering a lot of people.

 

If the republican are flat out breaking the law, maybe. There is a law from 1996 that allows this.

Encouraging/Inducing -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv) makes it an offense for any person who -- encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law.

Conspiracy/Aiding or Abetting -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(v) expressly makes it an offense to engage in a conspiracy to commit or aid or abet the commission of the foregoing offenses.

 

Trump will find some way to make them pay, if the victims of criminal illegals don't get them all in court first.

Not cooperating with a Federal bureaucrat is the opposite of an activity. It is passivity.
