Not officially, and not the government, but with 5-6K wealthy princes who are using madrassas around the world to fund questionable activities, I'd expect they are sending weapons to them and other anti-assad groups. KSA hates assad, this is just too good an opportunity to get rid of him and diminish iran's influence.

 

They wouldn't back ISIS either. The princes aren't that religious.. They all hate Assad because he murdered Rafic Hariri... and because Syria has been a bad actor back to the days of TAPLINE... Just about every Syrian political party is some variation on socialism or communism. Saudis don't like either.
