Nonsense, Comey was not a member of any investigation team. A Director who did that would be in court being cross examined every day. Read his job description.

 

Not if Comey is incompetent and continuing the investigation without a shred of evidence. Comey has been destroying Trump's ability to deal with the Russians because of Comey's incompetence, not to mention Comey's inability to contain the politically motivated leaks within the FBI. .

Unnamed sources. Internal leaks. Nobody willing to take responsibility for any of this critically important information. Everybody should have a serious problem with this. I'd at least recommend approaching these reports with a healthy dose of skepticism.

He fired the head of the FBI for acting improperly, thereby doing something that a good many on both sides of the aisle had said needed to be done. Any investigation(s) have continued on. And many here would appreciate a citation showing that the President said he fired Comey in order to stop an investigation. That would prove quite interesting, if you have such a thing. And if you don't, that too would be quite interesting.

 

It should scare you more that the FBI listened to American citizens and then leaked incomplete information in an effort to de-legitimize our President, no matter who he/she happens to be. That should be the headlines in the left-wing politically biased news but they are just as deep into the democrat party as all you people. .

Trump admitted that he fired Comey because he wouldn't drop "the Russia thing".

And now it comes out that he tried to get other intel agency heads to pressure Comey to drop the investigation.

I am convinced that most of the Trump critics here are, like you, trying to discover the truth. The MSM, and the rest of the bipartisan political class that is at war with Trump have other agendas, but eventually the truth will out. It will probably not take much longer.

 

Trump's problem with Comey and the Russian probe, is he was letting it drag on. And that was interfering with getting things done. At present the investigation is 10 months old, and they found ZERO collusion. Either get serious, and get it done, or admit it was all a witch hunt.
But the big problem with Comey, is that the FBI should be non-partisan. What Comey did was be pro-Democrat, and thenpro-Republican, and then pro-Democrat again trying to be "fair". But being politically equal isn't his job. He should be politically blind.
