Why mortgage brokers are leaving the industry

    A very high number quit already. Due to Dodd Frank, our incomes fell precipitously. Take a look at incomes of others. Had I played pro baseball, I might have been wealthy in a year. Working as a Mortgage broker or agent meant you had no job security and to make up for it, you worked even weekends. And when customers got home from work, then they met with us. We had to conform to their schedule much of the time.

    Sorry if this rubs you wrong but I think lending money should be illegal. It's the greatest source of unnecessary risk, it causes inflation which devalues our money making it difficult for the poor to get what they need, and because it's fundamentally unfair for anyone to receive money before they've earned it or to receive goods or services before they've paid for it, in full.
