But Flynn isn't under investigation for collusion in the campaign either. He is under investigation for his own issues, namely not reporting his status as a lobbyist for Turkey until after it came out publicly. What are you on about?

A lot of his job is being done but it does seem the real thorn in the side is.....he can't get it done completely when the Senate is focused on removing him from office rather than doing their job. Truth is the NSA reports provided to the FBI had in fact absolved Trump, even before any alleged conversations took place. Feinstein, and the "gang of 8" were all informed by Rogers that no evidence of collusion was discovered by the NSA investigators. Trump, wanted those facts made public to counter false allegations that were undermining the administations ability to govern effectively. It's a reasonable enough request. Dems who expect congress to construe appeals for transparency as obstruction will be sadly disappointed.

 

Trump is abusing the power of his office and has gone out of his way to obstruct the normal course of justice. He is firing people that are looking into matters he does not want them investigating, hence, he is putting his thumb on the scale to stop an investigation into possible crimes. He is exhibiting the actions of a guilty man with something to hide, consciousness of guilt. Trump is saying, "People I need you to back me up as I can't stand on my own two feet and deal with the situation I put myself into", the blameless victim whiner card again.

They used reverse "exec priv" to avoid answering this and did not deny it either. The ex-FBI director did in fact answer the question. You have accused Trump of colluding with the Russians to fix the election - that was always an obvious Big Fat Lie - Fake News. You can be excused for believing the MSM then, but now you know for a fact that your sources are incredible. The excuse for believing media liars has evaporated. Why else would Trump hire a long time Putin stooge like Manafort to run his campaign if not to get help from Russian Military Intel in the election? After that hire he went on national TV and urged the Russians to steal more of Hillary's emails and leak them. Then, Manafort was suddenly fired once these Russian hacking stories surfaced. I am not so sure anyone can prove that Trump conspired with the Ruskies, or if he was even aware of it, but it sure looks like people high up in his campaign did. We should all just wait and see what the investigation turns up. If Trump and Sessions are clean in this matter, they should fully support the findings and do whatever it takes to make sure that a hostile foreign entity can not act to influence our elections in the future. Maybe the Russians are hard at work co-opting a Democrat stooge right now to be their next puppet. If nothing else, this whole deal has shined a bright spotlight on Trump and his associates which will make it less likely for them to get away with any shady pay for play deals with Russia. These hearings and investigations are good for America...

 

Given that Manafort and the rest of the Trump campaign were under comprehensive NSA surveillance it is safe to conclude that none of them colluded with Russia.

Otherwise the Obama/Lynch would have played and displayed the communications for a grand jury and happily indicted and arrested every colluder - game over.

Comey even admitted that Trump had told him to nail anyone on his team involved in collusion.
