YAY Once again I am proud of Trump for doing the right thing. Islam which is Sharia Law advocates hate, murder, inhumane treatment of women, and pedophilia and therefore should not be recognized as a religion of peace. If leaders don't quit with the political correctness and stop them from infiltrating their countries, it will be the ruination of the world. Playing footsy with them just sends mixed messages and only advances their agenda. So great job for that and also for not bowing to the Saudi King like Obama did.

 

No one should respect or acknowledge a so called religion that advocates hate and murder to all who don't worship and think as they do. One that says each man can have four NINE year old girls as wives. One that allows murdering their wives by simply claiming they committed adultery and he wouldn't even have to appear in court. That's not a religion that deserves respect. If so, might as well bow down and worship all murderous thugs and pedophiles in prison.

Yeah, all well and good.
But somehow, the constant (and I mean constant) intolerance, anger, subjugation, attacks on people not of their own kind around the globe, and the very lack of a huge push back from the so-called "moderate Muslims" --- that all kind of dampens our zeal for celebrating this religion. Because it has not done what it must do, and that is to vehemently denounce the hatred and the violence and their clergy and people to take very meaningful measures to do away with it. Instead, the Palestinians and the Iranians and many other Arab-Muslim nations vote in the most radical parties or leaders. And the West cowers before them, time and again. And instead vilifies Israel.

 

Our muslim clergy and population have pretty hostile position towards ISIS, for example.

I know that majority of our people are not arabs, and only somewhat 1/5 of citizens are muslims.. But still - a big and notable community, that somehow has no support for radicals.

I know history went way differently in other countries, and gave quite different results, but.. Don't draw a cross on Islam - pretty much fine religion, as long as people don't load each other with bullshιt to excuse one or other atrosity.

The way politics works now days, any time I see claims like this that seem ridiculous at face value, either from The Right or The Left, I do a quick search to see if they have heald their own side to the same stringent activity and found this on line 2.

While I don't think either story is anything worth caring about, the hypocrisy of both parties has gotten so extreme that threads similar to this one have popped up more and more as an attack to that Presidents "morals/values/etc"

I think post like this are a piece of the massive "rhetoric" problem we have in the US. Now days it is "If you don't do what I say then you are evil/mean/racist/bigoted/etc.

Thankfully I have DEFINITELY, ABSOLUTELY, 100% noticed that the average citizen is pushing back against those being hyper PC

 

i dont see trump defiling the muslim feast either, all he does is not partake in it
the only matter of religious tolerance that needs to happend is giving muslims have the right to have this feast in the first place? (without being forced to give them a day off for it)

Well, as I pointed above - we get along with ours pretty well. And that - without stupid restrictions on food and clothing. Plus actually Islam recognises Jesus as one of God's prophets. Called Isa ibn Maryam, and if any muslim will tell you otherwise - pretty much he probably stuffs himself with pork on Ramazan for all day and does not even try to pray in actual direction of Kaaba, if he prays regularily at all. In other words - just a neckbearded pompous poser who has no clue about religion he claims to be worshipping.
