An homeless man and a stray dog live under a bridge. A person is observing (yourself), as a dog warden pulls up along the side the bridge. The dog warden gets out of their van and captures the dog, taking it to somewhere warm with food and shelter.

Do you while observing, 'see' something very odd about this ''picture''? Almost insanely odd.

Yes, I am noticing mental instability. The dog will enjoy 7 days of horror in a cage before being terminated. Luckily, politicians ALLOW me to keep pets, so I have adopted a few. Where I live, the homeless live better than much of the world. Food, shelter, and rehab is available should they choose to seek help. I suppose some think we should treat them like dogs and force them into shelter against their will. Thinking that politicians are the solution to homelessness can only create wealthy politicians and more homeless.

The solution to a problem can not create more problems if the solution is the correct solution to begin with. I am sure most homeless people would jump at the chance to get back into society. I noticed irony in my example, care about the dog before the human.
Refugees get better treatment than the homeless in regards to how the governments treat refugees. I do not think the answer is to round then all up like dogs, although if they refuse to be put back into society this could be a problem, perhaps put them on some island and leave them too it.
