Isn't that what Republicans are pushing for with their new EPA mission agenda? Many, many US Conservatives (including Hillary Clinton) don't want to see minimum wage bumped up to a living wage, and do you really want to talk about currency manipulation? The US is guilty of all three of those things and we're falling behind as China is catching up.
That link doesn't tell everything. That link is just to let people know that something like this actually happened. Do some research, they did abandon it. Did you have the impression that 26 workers kicked out the owners and 324 employees in some sort of hostile takeover?
You're correct, but what it does prove is that you enjoy living in blissful ignorance and using it like some sort of shield.
The thing that actually happened was that no civil servant was able to get fired in that country. Top of my head, it had a political idea behind it, that after a regime change they would not just be able to fire the lot of them to make room for people all loyal to the new government. (I found an article that in 2003 the first civil servants got fired after a century!) In reality it ment, that them civil servants had no interests in actually doing much. That resulted that 50% of the companies committed tax fraud. It also resulted a heck of a lot more civil servants got employed so work that had to be done got done. And the GDP of Greece was actually 1/4 higher than published, due to all untaxed cash that was pushed around. That money was used to than bribe civil servants some more, to get yourself to be declared blind or whatever to cash in on benefits. And with the retirement age that was 55 for men and 50 for women. That just meant their lifespan of 75 years was paid by just working 25 to 30 years. This has nothing to do with socialism. This is just about freeloading till the bubble pops.
Not me, have at it watching propaganda films comrade, I want numerous sources..To make an opinion. Which you couldn't produce and upset we caught you in your OP of theft of equipment.. .
I can make a propaganda you tube video also by just using the OPs link ..that came from respectable sources . .
This story even gets more interesting from NPR 2013, these workers were getting unemployment checks from the state, double dipping... http://www.npr.org/sections/paralle...iting-dignity-greek-workers-take-over-factory
No you didn't. I approve of the arrangement. Capitalist law will be eliminated eventually. Private ownership of businesses for private profit will be outlawed. But I know what you mean about propaganda. That's why I never waste my time with right wing "news".
The Marcora law in Italy says that if the workers of a business that is dealing with bankruptcy can get 10 workers to agree to take over operation of the business as a WSDE, the 10 workers can get their 2 years worth of unemployment benefits up front in a lump sum if they agree to pool it and use it to get the business up and running. Maybe something like that happened in Greece. The point is you don't know, yet interestingly you want to find an angle by which you can attack the idea and vilify the workers. I don't suppose you consider that to be class warfare, but it is.
Yet I already smoked you in your OP , no where in your OP did you post a video.. Of course I look and search to find the real facts..
Great you fly over to Greece, get some actors to go down to this factory, and do just that. Then post it on here with whatever reality you wish to promote.
What am I defending? That a minimum wage wasn't meant to raise a family on? It's not. It's the bare minimum most workers can paid. The wages someone can live on has far too many other factors to consider.
What you view as socialism is in fact merely bigger government in a capitalist system. Your a democrat, not a socialist. In the US the government is about 34% of GDP while in Germany they are 44%.
What you're saying is that your whole focus and goal is to conflict and to look for opportunities to conflict. Information is secondary and amount to one means of conflicting. Why do I bother with you.
But where can we find a socialist economy and government? We can't. So it's all relative. BTW, The Heritage Foundation and the WSJ say the US is 42% and Germany is 45%. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Government_spending
