The President hadn't been able to rally the country together, since his speech in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania back in the '08 campaign. I was missing and longing for THAT Obama.

I think you can only be charged with first degree murder if you actually plan to murder someone. Ploughing a car into a random group does not guarantee the murder of someone. Second degree murder is not a lesser crime in this sort of attack. He clearer set out to run people over and his sentence will be the same as if he was charged with first degree murder
