They had the technology to soft-land unmanned robotic craft back then. Such a craft could have had adjustable reflectors attached to its sides. Check out what it says here.

    What Happened on the Moon

    (3:26:03 time mark)

Pictures are fakable so they don't prove anything and they don't make the anomalies in the footage and pictures go away. Go back and read the info I posted in post #18.

It's also pretty clear that the "Expert" Apollo defenders are a bunch of paid sophists who don't even believe their own arguments.

I believe they 'reported' a while back that Sarah Palin was made science advisor.

It would be career suicide for them if they were to openly say the missions were faked.

Well, considering that there is no appointed science advisor, the web site is satirical, and Gelernter is a prof. of computer science, it would appear that YOU are the pathetic Kremlin fanatic and common sense is a pain.

I couldn't find that claim on anything except unknown bizarre web sites.

    Sounds like more fake news.

In the information flow of Western media - 99.9% of the information - lies. Therefore, the grain of truth is striking.

What do you people think of this study done by a PH.D that shows that the mountains in the background in the Apollo pictures were too close to the camera to be mountains and were therefore backdrops on a stage?

You Blast the brain of the fanatics of the "landing on the moon." They will not survive this. But since they have no arguments, they will continue to yell about propaganda and try to offend. They have no other methods.

David Gelernter is a world-renown and multiple award-winning computer scientist known for his contributions to parallel computation and his early prediction of the rise of the World Wide Web. Who you are?

I well remember when it happened. We all watched it on TV. To fake such an event would have been a very big deal and to get away with it even bigger. You may rest assured - We put men on the Moon. One guy even played some golf up there. "Miles and miles....".

This whole string is BS Fake News from a Conspiracy website/trash tabloid.
    Here's their front page/home page:

    http://worldnewsdailyreport.com/

Like all of your posts, it's wacky garbage.
despite the outrageous nature of the headline, you don't even bother to check it.
This is intentional or lunatical disinformation.

    I've requested it be moved.

    A) David Gelernter is not now, nor has he ever been, a presidential advisor.
    B) David Gelernter has never said anything to doubt the moon landing.
    C) The ONLY reference to him doing so is a fake-news satire site that has no true stories anywhere on the site.

    This entire thread is bullshit.

Yep. That, or I am especially intelligent. Maybe both.

Do you have something ressembling a telescope deepin Mother Russia? If you do, you can see the LEM and other stuff that was left on the moon.

I think this is another iteration of the constantly evolving moon landing hoax conspiracy "theories". Many of those nuts don't stop with Apollo, but will tell you that the Chinese faked their spacewalk as well, because they see "bubbles" in the video (hence it was underwater).

I also think that worldnewsdailyreport.com must be another joke site or other fake news site (I'm not even going to bother looking) trying to make a quick buck by publishing nonsense on the internet that gets picked up and shared by dopes on social media, including of course forums..

Rehearsed... absolutely. It's almost as if the guy knew he was going to land on the moon and that what ever he said at that moment would be remembered

This proves it was a fraud that involved the sketchy ham radio community of Australia... who would ever believe anything from them

Of course it was rehearsed. It was written for him on earth, so that he would have something more inspirational to say than simply "Wow." Hardly evidence that he didn't go to the moon.

If I'm not mistaken, Armstrong came up with his line on his own, though he certainly did come up with it before he reached the bottom of the ladder. But he evidently didn't rehearse it enough, since he accidently left out the indefinite pronoun (one small step for *a* man). I remember Penn & Teller highlighted that little gaffe in their conspiracy theory episode of "Bullshit!"
