Gun crimes can deny a person their civil rights. barry pardoned or commuted (almost the same thing) No I am very pro 2nd amendment, I have several guns . Do you feel Obama was hypocritical releasing gun criminals and asking for more gun control?

Arpaio is a corrupt piece of garbage who ran his jails like internment camps. It's no surprise that the fascist on the right-wing see this racist ****stain of a human being as a hero.

Well, it's not a done deal. The DoJ requires a 5 year waiting period before the pardon goes through AND requires an admission of guilt. Will Boss Hogg make it through either of those?

False in every detail. He flouted the law so he could make a big show of persecuting hipanics'

Racism was Arpio's entire act. He sent a couple of his deputies on an all expense paid junket to Hawaii to "investigate" Barack Obama's birth certificate.

    So, allegedly, did Trump.

    The Deplorablores cheered.

But neither "investigation" produced a thing. In fact, there is little evidence that anything was actually investigated by either party. But they did run up the expense charges.

    And the Deplorables cheered.

When both investigations disappeared without a word being said, the Deplorables didn't notice.

    Cons being conned.

And to send a message to Flynn, Manafort, et al -- not to worry -- don't snitch me out. I've got your back.

Manning did worse according to the law. Yet Obama let him go.

BTW, the conviction of Arpaio (now same if never happened) was contempt of court. Arpaio himself played no role in arrests of illegals.

Obama would have been far better off not to have a Kenyan citizen as his dad. Democrats should never, for Obama's sake, started this Birther issue. Obama never assumed the race of his mom, he assumed the race of his father. Who as I laugh was Kenyan.

Some posts just need to sit there on their own, all by their lonesome self.

He profiled "Latinos" not "illegals". His officers had no idea whether the people being targeted were here illegally or whether they were lawful permanent residents or US Citizens.

You just sanctioned US Citizens potentially having their rights abridged because of the way they looked. Maybe one day someone will come into office that doesn't like the way you look? You won't be saying "excellent" then, that's for sure.

    Shameful.

Did you find any incorrect comments?

Was our last president sans legal American citizen father or not? Did he assume his moms race or not?

Kenya produced our last president. Do you deny this?

Too much. You just make stuff up on the fly?

The five year period pertains to "petitions" for clemency filed through the DOJ. The President can at anytime pardon for federal offences and it is effective immediately. But you knew this and are just trying to cloud the issue, noted.

Yet none of what was just mentioned, was what he was charged with. There was not even a single charge of violating civil and constitutional rights. Instead it was a single charge of contempt of court, which does not even carry a sentence of six months with it. Apparently the degree of the offense was so minor, the accused did not even qualify for a trial by jury.

Stopping citizens can't hurt them. Arpaio was not hunting down citizens per your own comments. Have you got stopped at a DUI checkpoint?

None of which were actually charges at trial. Rather it was nothing more than one single charge of contempt of court. Blame the courts that chose to pursue a petty offense rather than felony indictments for the above acts and misdeeds. They are the ones who concluded that contempt of court carried more importance than violation of civil and constitutional rights.
