By demonizing everyone from the media to the GOP to all the intelligence agencies, Trump has most of this country hoping for a curse on him. When you have millions of people hoping for the worst to come down on Trump, that's a lot of negative energy coming his way.

Within a month, there won't be any more Trump supporters in Texas or Louisiana.

Donald Trump is likely to be removed from office or quit soon judging by the very small leaks coming out of his investigation(s). History will probably label him the worst President in perpetuity. Any "Curse" is self imposed by his personality, actions, and history.

None of the investigations can remove President Trump from office.

That is the height of liberal intellectualism, hate and hoping for failure.

Investigations do not prosecute or charge, let alone impeach.

Then you must be one hell of a liberal intellectual given the last 8 years and your posts about the last President ... hate and hoping for failure, indeed.

No, he will always keep a core of hardcore supporters who will never abandon him. Irrationality is a new trend, and not only among conservative. Did you ever talked with a religious fanatic ? Could rationality change his mind ? By the way, it didn't.

From my non american point of view, Georges W Bush is still much more worser.

    Trump is doing just fine.

He is racking up one success after another in spite of all the liberal hate.

That's what really bothers the left.

Eventually even the Jim Jones followers sobered up from the koolaid after the massacre. In six months, it will be evident to the whole country how incompetent Trump was in Texas and Louisiana. Cutting FEMA funding is going to haunt him.

I don't know. I'm french, and I think he is somehow similar to the french president Nicolas Sarkozy who ruled France between 2007 and 2012. He quickly became very unpopular but ended his term and was beaten by François Hollande who ended to be even more unpopular, but his unpopularity seems for me to be less vigorous, even if much wider. Nicolas Sarkozy always kept a core of supporters and tried to go back in the political game in 2017, but he was humiliated in the primary by being the third (and most french enjoyed that).

By the way, American people are not the french, and we don't share the same political institutions.

    He did two things :
He considerably discredited the USA word value by his lies about Iraq. The actions of Bush considerably lowered the diplomatic impact of the USA. Trump did it too, but I think it will be less significant on the the long term.
He is responsible for the death of countless people, and he is the main responsible, Obama could be responsible as a secundary one, of the turmoil who enabled ISIS.

For the moment, Trump didn't started a war, and he have to deal with North Korea which is more dangerous than ever. As long he don't start a pure agression war like Bush did, he will not be as worst than Bush.

    You beat me to it.
I completely agree, and the religious comparison is valid. Jim Jones comes to mind. Trump could hold a rally and serve cool-aid and the chumps would chug it down.

I disagree about Bush - he was incompetent, yes, but not nasty, and not quite as stupid. Immediately after 9/11 he said all the right things - who knows if he didn't have the coward Darth Vader Cheney pulling/pushing him into the Iraq fiasco???

This thread is hilarious. Much like the hundreds of "Trump has no chance to win the election" threads. The left wing's predictions have been so off it's hilarious.

I don't know if you can win an election can be stupid. Maybe he was manipulated, but the results are the same, the american presidency said lies and lowered the value of the american presidents.

About Trump, he seems to be tiring, but he doesn't seems still that much worser than Hillary for me. He just seems more obviously toxic. Prefering Clinton seems still comparable for me to prefer an arsenic pill because it has a prettier color than the one with a skull on it. I'm rather alone to think that among western european.

Karl Rove won the election for Bimbo Bush.
I am also not a fan of Hillary, but at least she was capable, experienced, and informed. I admit I was not looking forward to hearing her voice, but my worst thoughts of the reality show host have been far exceeded. He is an ignorant, infantile, egomaniac.
