You can't match that and you can't get close to matching that with your under-gunned Abrams. Which simply put has the weakest armament in NATO. I appreciate you make Silver Bullets. Very effective sabot rounds, but sabots lose power over range.
The Abrams as stands can't fit a bigger gun. After the Gulf War planners realised it was undergunned. So they upgraded to 120mm. But only a stubby one. Bigger would have required a new tank turret.
It's still undergunned compared to other tank designs.


Soviet armour is better than your armour. Higher tech. Much higher tech.
The best tank armour tech you have is a clone of their T64 armour and you only have that welded on the front turret armour of a few of your tanks. They are just multiple generations of tank defences ahead of you. 50+ years.
I don't honestly think that anyone in the world actually produces worse tanks than you do. Bottom of the league table.

I assume that Abrams crew is as well trained and battle experienced as any other tank crew in the world.
I assume the same of the Russians.

You don't outclass the Russians. And in the specific arena of tanks, no one else does either.

In technology terms it's quite an easy one to work out. He who designs last, wins.
