North Korea threatens to 'sink' Japan, reduce US to 'ashes and darkness'

Well if NK gets a viable nuclear missile system Japan will be unlikely not to want to go nuclear and unlike NK they will be so armed in under a decade they have the engineering and scientific expertise to do so its simply going to require the political will.

 

Why dont you have a beef with North Korea? They are threatening world stability and firing missiles over peaceful nations? You should have a beef..Where's the beef?

 

both Trump and Kim are both nut jobs, both threatening nuclear war, what the heck, both are looking like jokes on the world stage and that is dangerous for the world as one or the other could be crazy enough to actually use nukes

Kim Jung Un is all talk and no action. For now. We'll have to worry about him when he seeks to invade South Korea.

No sane person can argue that NK at this point in time should keep their nukes or be allowed to amass them... they are firing over Japan and threatening to detonate over the pacific. I thought the left was worried about the environment...what happened? Of course Trump doesnt want war..no one does..
at this point however NK has to be stopped. They are destabilizing the planet. Do you prefer to wait for hawaii or japan to be nuked first before taking action? After WW2 the planet decided to never allow another hitler. We now have one again only this one is threatening us and our allies with nukes.

war typically destroys a Presidency. plus anyone with a TV knows that NK is now a direct threat to us. But speaking of war...how come you guys are ok with a war with russia over fake news but not a war with NK who is in reality firing missiles at our allies and now threatening a thermonuke detonation over the pacific?

While I tend to agree with you I cannot deny that the failed policies of many past administrations have inexorably led us to this point. I am not implying that you deny the aforementioned. What we have done previously has failed utterly so I am OK with a new approach, but with that said I temper my enthusiasm for a new approach by also acknowledging that Trump is a man of stunted rational which is problematic.

My view is that we need to **** or get off the pot, meaning that we should immediately go to war or just let NK do its thing and let them live in peace so long as they allow other countries the same and I am for the latter rather than the former.

 

no one denies that also played a roll, many used personal email back then, even Palin and the VP Pence... but that doesn't change the fact that Russia interfered with our election and helped get Trump elected

 

I agree with most of what you said, but, we can't go to war without cause as many could die, including our own soldiers in SK

the best thing that could happen is Kim's own country take him out and end this, but I doubt that will happen

I agree. China has made it clear that if we attack first they will side with NK but if NK attacks first then China stays neutral. So I say if Rocket Man is stupid enough to attack then his Nation will be destroyed. Hopefully Rocket Man is not as stupid as he appears because war would be disastrous for all involved.
