The above is a lie. I have never posted that to any poster on this forum in years of being here. Cite it or retract and apologize for lying to the forum and lying about my posts, or lose any credibility you have (as if)

Oh, my memory was failing me, it was "F... U" not "Fu.. off". Same thing.

    Sanskrit:
"F... U. Don't even presume to lecture me about posting etiquette, most of your posts to this forum are substanceless, fallacy ridden claims putting words in other people's mouths. Here's a forum etiquette "Pro Tip" for you, reference the words someone actually posts, and then add your response to THOSE WORDS. You'll find my civility is a sliding scale, and is 90% reactive, not proactive, to the ways in which people engage me or my posts. Don't lie as you did in your first response to my post and you and I won't have problems."

Good thing the forum has a search function.

P.S., he talked about apologizing, wonder if he comes through.

most of the rich already pay 0 estate tax lol.

Its hard to find the exact dollar amount of the effect because there are no brackets yet but doubling the standard deduction is one of the more proggressive things anyone has done.

then no need to add it to this bill, right, I mean if as you claim the rich already pay 0% estate tax

99% of Americans pay no estate tax as they do not have an estate worth over 11 million

republicans will fight tooth and nail to get the 1% their extra super sized tax cut

Scott A. Hodge, president of that organization, is on record making blatantly ludicrous arguments in favor of the anti-tax right wing.

Picking such a ridiculous right wing think tank as support just reflects on your argument.

Readers can read the LW lobbies already cited in the thread (and I notice nary a peep from you concerning their partisanship) versus the one I linked and make up their own minds as to which source is more reasonable, fact-based and credible. As a practitioner of tax and business law who does estate tax planning from time to time, speaking for tax reform AGAINST my personal financial interest, the Tax Foundation is far more credible, not even remotely close. Again, readers can certainly decide for themselves.

LMAO! Now the estate tax, which only about 5000 pay each year, not affects "TENS OF MILLIONS"

And to support his claim, he "cites" the front page of Tax Foundation, which says nothing about "TENS OF MILLIONS" being affected by the estate tax. So much for demanding a WRITTEN RECORD.

Next Sanskrit will tell us that EVERYONE is affected by the estate tax!

How will tax reform affect me??? I have no clue. I haven't heard anything about changes to the self-employment tax which is how I file.

So I'm going to be paying MORE in taxes all because I'm not paid on the books. I thought I was going to be, but it didn't turn out that way.

Some people of low income look forward to a tax refund at the end of the year, but not me. I have to pay double my income tax because I'm not only paying my social security and medicare contributions but also the "employer contribution" that would have been split off to my employer if they paid me on the books.

Oh well, got to earn every Social Security credit I can, get them while I can. I need another 10 points to earn retirement. Goodness knows I'm only going to get $200 a month when I retire because I'm poor and make a low income.

I remember now, you repeatedly lied in that thread too and put words in my mouth that I didn't post, over and over despite being called on it by other posters in addition to me, and then lied again here in this thread as if that was my "first reply" to you when it most certainly was not, as the record of that thread plainly shows. I should not have posted FU, but your level of repetitive dishonesty in that thread was over the top.

How will Trump's tax plan impact my life?

Entertainment value ... I get to watch that clock on the National Debt run even faster.
Otherwise, I'm not one of the 1%, so expect i'll see zero benefit.

That means you pay double the SS/medicare tax, not double the income tax. And you do get a deduction for the employer's half you pay.

Unresponsive, dealt with prior in SEVERAL posts in the most crystal clear 8th grade level language. Honest readers can read my posts for themselves and decide whether I satisfactorily evidenced that the estate tax affect not just millions, but TENS OF MILLIONS of people. Or they can take the word of partisan hacks who try to fool you into believing that the only people affected by estate taxes are those who end up paying it. Hogwash.

Once again, the estate tax is like a giant sinkhole in the main drag of the small business economy with only a 40 mile detour available. The number of people who drive all the way into the sinkhole is irrelevant to the FACT that EVERYONE using the road and all their PASSENGERS must deal with the sinkhole to great expense and economic detriment.

Remember folks, ALWAYS have a WRITTEN RECORD of ANY discussion attempted with a leftist.

Oh, and to repeat, here's a link to far more honest information and commentary on U.S. tax policy than the crooked union label Complex lobbies cited in the thread so far:

    https://taxfoundation.org/

provided anyone is interested in actual analysis as opposed to LW talking points.

As any 6th grader reading could puzzle out, but apparently our LW propagandists cannot, the Tax Foundation was -not- cited as evidence for claims about the effects of the estate tax on tens of millions of people that I have already evidenced in the thread with links to D&B and US Census data (and were utterly ignored in favor of spamming inaccurate claims from partisan think tanks over and over).

Caught in another one, eh? It's always obvious by the way you flail and break the rules. "F...U" is certainly close enough to F...Off to prove Qunatum's assertion.

I'll do a little better with this plan.

Tax reform is something Trump cares about, unlike health care. Hopefully Trump can pound away at this every day. They need to do the Democratic thing by parading the poor in front of the cameras and explain how the disadvantaged will be so much better off when this passes.

All I know is that I got a refund every year I worked on the books, and then when I filed self-employment taxes I owed the government money.

Dealt with in a prior post, it's not "Forbes" but a Forbes BLOG that states that the opinions within are not those of Forbes RIGHT THERE AT THE TOP. Moreover, to reiterate, any source that cites to LW union label tax policy lobbies is de jure partisan.
