Being gang raped/killed happens just about as often as Daddy or little Joe having accidents. It's just that those accidents are reported on more frequently because a gun is involved and without a crime committed. Just more fodder for leftist gun control. Usually those accidents happen with handguns, not AR's.

Sure you do. But how many people do it anyway without license or insurance? More than you realize

The point I was trying to make was for informational purposes because so many people don't realize fully automatic weapons are legal to own. As long as you are capable of jumping thru all the hoops required, and those weapons manufactured BEFORE 1986. Anything made after that date IS ILLEGAL.
There are so many different gun laws on the books and because of wording that most people miss, they automatically assume full auto weapons are illegal. And that is not correct

Since when was having a penis a requirement to own a gun or stand for the Right to own one? Chauvinistic much?

When there's nothing left but arid dust my job is done.

Men who are unable or unwilling to explore their emotional being offset this by emotional transference.

    A fishing rod, a gun, a car, a dog.

    Safe items to love.

In the worst cases it becomes a sexual fetish. Gun nuts are a bit perverted that way. The gun's a representative symbol of their manliness.

    Apparently.

Until you get to the big bores.
I love my duck gun. It's a she.

    It doesn't work that way.
My gun collection is way better than any criminals.

Criminals steal their guns from legal owners, or legally own them themselves.
Every illegal gun started life as a legal one.

I tell you what, anyone who lives in a state with weak government could kick your ass in a heartbeat. I once backpacked from Egypt to Sudan to Uganga, Kenya and Tanzania. You would not have survived it unless you were some kind of seal or ranger, I almost died myself. People who live in weak states are tough as nails.

You may suggest it as long as you are not claiming to have an interest in reducing violence.

    You dont seem to understand.
My response repeated the paet of the phrase "you can start" which was unnecessarily payronising. As you can see later I was the one that stayed on topic...didnt move towards cars being more dangerous etc

And if they owned up to common sense that its the extremes that is the problem. Extremes of mental instability (including non diagnosed which is more than those in number of mentally unstable imo) and extremes of attitudes including personal rights. Owners of mass killing weapons..
Its not all about your rights, what about the rights of the innocent to live? Put equal effort in them as you do defending your stubborn stance and progress will be made

The rights of over 500 were infringed. Actually 22000 rights as their right to listen to music was violated. Oh yeh, that doesnt matter right?
Mere collateral damage for the sake of your own needs

Nothing can change what was done the fact is no one may violate the rights of another because of what someone else MIGHT do

Yes, I'm well aware of men's fixations that seem sexual, but is really their level of need for power.

Speaking to victims families is the definition of anecdote. This is IMO the worst kind of policy debate - based on emotion.

I believe the point of the 2nd Amendment is to protect the citizens from an oppressive police state - allowing an armed populace to take arms against the government, should it no longer serve the people. That said, I am perfectly one with gun reform. Some weapons are too powerful in reckless hands. The caveat is IF this is done, demilitarize the police, national guard, military etc. thus, IF THE PEOPLE CANNOT HAVE POWERFUL WEAPONS, NEITHER SHOULD THE POLICE.

Absolutely NO exceptions to the rule. I think this is a good middle ground. Oddly I never hear this argument. Disarm the people? Disarm the police, 2nd amendment is upheld with this interpretation, and idiots won't be able to mass murder people.
