That being said; even if Trump said it, he knows better now. He's never said this publically, ever, so it doesn't seem to be his policy. If I remember correctly his "tip top shape" stance has been told since the campaign.

Trump may very well say he wants 10X more budget spent on our nuclear arsenal.

We have no context to even judge a statement like that. The media shouldn't be reporting off it unless they have more information to give us. Speculation isn't news.

We have no Idea what's being spent now. We have no idea of any of our capabilities. I know most of our nuclear arsenal was built on 90s tech. While NK Russia and China all have modern platforms. So I can't image we are spending much.
