Sanders said Kelly was in the room. You need to read the transcript of the press conference from Wednesday. Did she lie when she said Kelly was there when Trump called the widow, or are you just so all over the place you don't even know what's going on anymore? Or maybe you have some evidence to show that Kelly was plugging up his ears when Trump was on the phone?

 

Since Kelly was in the room and attempted to explain Trump's statement it is probable that he heard it. Of course since Trump said he had proof that the congresswoman was lying perhaps you have some other explanation of what Trump has as proof. Or was Trump just lying one more time.

Johnson's mother said Wilson's statement was accurate. Trump then said it was a "total lie". So he is also calling this gold star mother a liar.

Kelly talked about what the president "tried to say" during the call, and his press secretary said Kelly (and others) were present during the call. I gave the links for both in my prior post.

We don't know what donald said, except we know that Wilson said he said that "he must've know what he was getting into" and that his mother corroborated it, and that Kelly, who was in the room, didn't deny it, and in fact coached him on what to say.

Rep Wilson wants us to believe the first statement shows how callous and unempathetic Trump is. The second statement would show how Trump *is* empathetic and respectful.
