No they didn't, which is the point of this thread. One had Hillary up by 15% 3 months before the election. The average of polls had her up by 8% points three months before the election. And in 8 of the battleground states Trump won, the Real Clear Politics average of polls favored Clinton by 2.6% to as much as 10.1% the day before the election!

And as far as popular vote goes, without all the illegal votes, felons voting in blue states, and illegal aliens voting, she really probably would not have the popular vote as well.

I watched this guy before the election---and he was almost dead on. He's not a Left MSM guy BTW.

 

Polling shows how people will vote IF they do vote. It is very hard to predict turnout. That's why the polling was off here. Very low turnout among dems.

That is always the case. Turnout is driven by enthusiasm, and just as Obama's two wins against lackluster GOP candidates McCain and Romney, Obama was elected because of enthusiasm to elect the first black president while republican turnout was low because McCain and Romney were milk toast establishment republicans.

 

My point is that the polling was accurate. Most people hate trump. But not enough of those people voted. Don't expect those same people to note vote in 2020. Even if dems run a **** candidate like Bernie, Trump will lose. He is more hated than Hillary ever was.

The fact that the polls tightened up the day before the election nationally, going from an average of 8% points to only 3.2% was just the pollsters doing what they do every election, try to salvage a small moniker of their credibility and reputation. Isn't it odd that the margin of error always favored Hillary and almost never Trump?

 

Going by the actual data after votes were tallied most polls were relatively accurate. HillBill had 3 million or so more actual votes but it was not enough to overcome district manipulation in the electoral process. I understand TrumpHumpers do not wish to hear this and will call it "Fake News" but it is documented and verified reality. There may have been tampering but it would not even matter considering the gerrymandering before any votes were made.

 

I posted the actual data in the OP. My guess is you failed to read it or just prefer to ignore the facts because of your own political prejudices. Is the actual data I posted "fake news"? The only real vote tampering is the fraud votes Hillary Clinton received from multiple voting, dead voters, legal alien votes, illegal alien votes and other fraudulent votes. No amount of gerrymandering can change the popular vote of any state. There is gerrymandering in both red and blue states by the way. But add gerrymandering to your list of lame excuses why Crooked Hillary Clinton lost.

Comey was Hillary's greatest ally. He dismissed her from any legal prosecution for multiple crimes that she committed, unconstitutionally overstepping his authority and undermining the responsibility of the Justice Department prosecutors to make that decision. It is now well document that he came to that decision before the investigation had concluded. Hillary is crooked. She is the one who accepted millions from Putin, from the Russians. She is the one who gained financially from accepting speaking fees for her husband, former President Bill Clinton from the Russians. She is the one who received millions dollars from shady contributions to her foundations from both Russians and other corrupt nations and individuals in connection to the Uranium One deal among other shady ventures under her control as Secretary of State.

She is the one who conspired with the DNC to rig the primary elections against Senator Sanders. She is the one who colluded with the media to rig the debates. She is the one who deleted 33,000 emails and violated many laws including obstruction of justice and destroying evidence and government property that was under subpoena.

 

They BELIEVED their own propaganda. They thought that all the Brown skinned legal citizens of Texas HAD to be leftists simply because they are always swimming in leftist generated propaganda aimed squarely at them. But what leftists do not comprehend is that NOBODY is more conservative in nature than a Hispanic who's scrimped and saved and fought his or her way into at least the lower middle class via the sweat of their own brow; and Texas now has got millions of those good citizens.

 

Yes, but in truth the only reason it did not work was because Trump spoke the truth to the nation, Hillary was so OBVIOUSLY corrupt to the core and plus there was equally obviously something both physically and mentally wrong with her and, frankly, after eight years of Obamanomics and Obama's endless freaking race-baiting and race-agitating the nation was simply tired of . . . the . . . Left. It was a perfect storm.

 

Did Clinton's large lead dissipate, or did it never really even exist? The fake polls were using weighted polls that over polled democrats and under polled republicans, they knew it all along. The pollsters were simply trying to influence the vote because a certain percentage of the population can and are swayed by them. There are many who don't want to vote for the losing candidate and cast their votes based on who they think will win. Simple as that.

True. He could see the obvious. Hillary Clinton was a bad candidate who was headed for a huge defeat when everyone else was predicting a Hillary Clinton landslide.

So! Let us now again to rely on the very pollsters who said Hillary would win by a 15% vote margin! Certainly, they can't be wrong! Only 35% of the voters approve of the president, which means 11% of those that voted for him now disapprove of him.

Perhaps Hillary's triggered snowflakes can look to Putin and other foreign Clinton donors from the past to support her when she runs again in 2020!

 

None of this has anything to do with the pollster incorrect predictions that Hillary Clinton would win the election.
