This kind of surprises me. I thought the Dem party was fueled by billionaires like Soros, Tom Steyer, and Bloomberg with seemingly bottomless pockets. Apparently they don't have a lot of faith in the party these days or possibly they are just donated out. Of course with Virginia possibly turning purple since Trumps election I would look for more profitable investments myself

I guess their grassroots donations dried up also...libs need to loosen their purse strings maybe
DNC enters 2018 in cash panic

The Democratic National Committee is reeling, facing a turnaround that's proving a much bigger lift than anyone expected as it struggles to raise enough money to cover its basic promises.

Many donors are refusing to write checks. And on-the-ground operatives worry they won’t have the resources to build the infrastructure they need to compete effectively in next year’s midterms and in the run-up to 2020.

The left told the party that if they screwed Sanders over, they were leaving and never coming back.

Now even liberals - the party's mainstay - are unhappy.

Who knows - maybe the liberals will leave too?

if the far left leaves they could hold the 2020 convention in a Waffle House off I -95 and still have a vacant seat or two

Ok I exaggerate, a Ramada Inn conference room would probably suffice

have you read about Manchin asking Hillary not to help him, I bet she soiled herself when she read that

One day I woke up and the Democratic Party had dissolved

Then, as I was eating dinner I saw the Republican Party had dissolved.

Then I woke up .... from waking up.

It was the best wakeup from waking up I have ever had

If the Democratic Party dropped their anti-American schtick, they might get more money.

These are facts, I'm in the heartland and I can't convince anyone that Trump is against their values. The reason why I can't bring people over to the democrat side is due to, nfl protests, pro transgender, pro open borders, the democrats are far too left and I can't stand Trump, but he is winning. He is winning the culture war in America. The culture war is more important than any Legislation.

It is truly amazing how pathetic the leadership of the Democratic Party is right now. They should be laughing all the way to the election box but, it is like the party does not exist anymore - They have presented no coherent plan, and when they do speak it is some far left wing extremist nonsense that most of the Dem party does not buy into.

Did they not learn their lesson from Clinton who did nothing but bash Trump as her election platform ?

You can not just like down in the grass, ignore what is going on in the country, and hope " Geeze .. the other guy is so bad that the people should vote for me".

The GOP is handing future elections to the Dem's on a Gold Platter but .. they seem not to want it.

One party is in chaos and the other is lost.
