    I read this story earlier today and did quite a bit of thinking about it, so here it goes:

    1. That Trump even called is a sign of respect - PERIOD!

    2. That Trump didn't have a pre written form letter to read to her and wanted to wing it is a sign of respect - PERIOD!

    3. We all know Trump doesn't speak defensively, he doesn't consider how ruthless his enemies are, so it's not surprising he didn't measure every word which was then measured by the people who hate him who quite possibly twisted what Trump said and convinced the mother of their interpretation of it.

    3A. The above is easier to accomplish if you're a racist.

    4. The left says Trump is divisive. Yet it's the left wing media who takes every word Trump says and every action he takes and turns them into something evil worthy of hating him.

    5. The left get their hateful thoughts by the hateful left wing media, and to prove it I will state the following: There was a time when the left, including people on this board, first called Trump a fascist, then a Nazi, then a white supremacist. Each word was used for a number of months and then forgotten when the media started using the next word. Like I said, the left is told what and who to hate and how to express it.

    6. The only reason this widow was put on TV was so she can be used as a pawn by the left to spread their hate, possibly racist hate.

    7. I pity this widow, when this blows over the left will forget she ever existed.

    She thought it was disrespectful. It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

    Trump could have ended it all by simply saying he was sorry if his words were taken that way and saying he didn't mean disrespect. Simple, but instead he doubles down and talks crap about past Presidents and goes Twitter crazy.

    Just like the NFL. Making a huge issue out of little things cause he doesn't know how to shut the **** up.

    Still an upgrade on Obama. No matter what, still miles ahead of Obama when it comes to the best interest of ordinary Americans. What makes you the utmost hypocrite is that fact that you never mention that Trump is the most obstructed president in history of the USA. I cannot recall anyone being more undermined. Even Nixon had a preferential treatment compared to Trump.

    You mean myeshi johnson? Or the mama? both are looking for a score off the back of the soldier, and trump hate. Give it up for them. I'm sure they will get many donations to buy the new cars,, maybe even some houses. I would hope they put some away for the children, but then we are talking about liberals here.

    Obama and Clinton should have been there they were responsible for the deaths due to ignoring Stevens and Nordstrom requesting more security, Clinton's state Dept actually REDUCED security in Benghazi before the attacks. Britain and other western nations closed their consulates after the assassination attempt on the Brit Ambassador in June of 2012. So you bet your backside they needed to be there.

    Again, show me the post where I said Trump ordered Kelly to do anything, or look even sillier than you already do.

    Then focus on what I'm saying. Trump politicized the death of Kelly's son in order to score political points against Obama. Hint for you - I am not saying Kelly did it. I'm saying Trump did it. So you can either double down on the stupid by saying "Show me where Trump ordered Kelly to do that" (which would mean Trump ordered Kelly to tell Trump to politicize his son's death, which of course anyone with a brain knows I never said), or you can answer my post.

    Oh please didn't you hear what she said.....let me refresh your memory.....

    Rep Wilson said she was...."committed to honoring our service members, not only with words but with deeds”. The only deeds she can do to honor Veterans is to vote for bills benefiting them and she voted against them. Why wouldn't that be relevant considering what she said?
