I have seen and read uncounted comments by ex-VA employees who talk about the plush corridors of management who sit in their posh offices, arriving at 9 and going home at 5 - while doctors and nurses to everything they can do deal with the massive assault of needy veterans who the clerks and administrators turn away. I will repeat what I've stated elsewhere. The LAST thing I want to see is another, ineffect Congressional hearing!!! The right thing to do is have DA's where these hospitals are located to convene a grand jury to look into possible allegations of malfeasance or outright ignoring the needs of veterans and hand down indictments for manslaughter and even murder. Let some of that administrative slime collect mold in a jail cell for a few years.
