    The Houthis hijack aid trucks.

You can search on Saudi aid to Yemen in any year you choose.

Really? What happened to your argument that what made it legal was fighting to put Hadi back in?

If Saudi Arabia stopped mass killing of the people of Yemen it would not have any Yemen people fighting it. Oh maybe it would have Al Qaeda but as they are now in coalition with the Sauds that argument seems suspect. I guess what you are saying is that the only way that Saudi Arabia could stop AQAP was to kill the rest of Yemen.

Give yourself a break Margot. One post you say they are giving rampant aid and when that is shown not to be true in the next you give an article suggesting they had decided to give no aid, although of course telling everyone they were giving massive aid.

Really yet you have provided no source and you know what everyone is saying is that the reason aid is not getting through is because the Sauds are blocking it, have them under seige.

I provided you with links for two years. 15 and 17.

Look it is elementary dear Margot, if you are blocking aid getting in, you will not be providing aid. Anyway where does this fit in with your next post.

Nope, the Saudis are not in coalition with AQ.

AQ was training and arming suicide bombers to unleash on Saudi Arabia and the US.

The Saudis don't care what kind of government Yemen has .. They just want the country to be stable and not so impoverished. Unfortunately every damned terrorist group from Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan has taken over the country.. and yes innocent Yemenis are suffering.. Especially since their oil sector failed and all the factories closed 5 years ago.

Saudi Arabia has always given massive aid to Yemen for decades because they didn't want a failed state on their border. I am not sure it ever did Yemen any good because Yemen has always been lawless outside of Taiz and Sa'na. All during the 1990s there were kidnappings for ransom.. mostly of humanitarian aid workers and Americans. A few of the victims were killed.

The Al Jazeera article is fascinating. It illustrates how Saudi Arabia has been interfering in Yemen, taking part in wars, not because it had any interest in supporting anyone but just to make sure people it did not like did not win, manipulating things to get its own desires, hence not alowing Yemen self direction and no wonder they are in this mess with all that interference.

and remember yesterday I said it was niggling my mind that they might be wanting to separate Yemen because they had been involved in the 1990's civil war on the side of those wanting separation and that I thought that was the most likely scenario that we were going to find the outcome of this. Well what would you know

The article itself then says what I have worked out

It gets worse In the first gulf war it reneged on deals to give Yemeni workers the same rights as those of Saudi Arabia and told them they must find a sponsor or leave in a month

My hunch that the Saud and friends war against the people of Yemen may have something to do with their support for the separatists in the 90's turns out to be right. Now I think we are getting a little nearer the reason for the Saud and friends attempts to destroy Yemen and commit a genocide on her people. They effectively tried to strangle Yemen at birth and are continue to do that.

    and

and the US has been bombing and droning innocent Yemen people because of Saudi AQAP.
It also suggests a clear reason why AQAP will be on coalition with the Sauds being that they are Sauds - obviously not the Yemeni people who joined seeing it as the only way to get some revenge for the droning of family members but in general of course they would be on their own countries side. ;)

One of the things people talk of, I am sure you have yourself is the difficulty in getting Government working due to the independence of tribes from the government. Only yesterday I was reading how almost every tribe has its own army....well what would you believe

    http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/op...e-end-saudi-aid-yemen-201310246359802321.html

An excellent article Margot. It gives a lot of details into the way Saudi Arabia has been raping Yemen and stopping her from being able to be effective. They most certainly should be taken to the ICC.

Yes, some of the AQ are Saudis. KSA declared them a terrorist group in 1994 at the same time they yanked OBL's citizenship.

The Saudis fought on the side of the Monarchists in Yemen all during the 1960s. In 1967 when Israel bombed Egypt most of Egypt's troops were deployed in Yemen.

The Saudis didn't want Yemen taken over by Communists. As for Nasser... He was the leader of Pan Arabism and thought he should have control of Saudis oil.

Right so they sent them to Yemen so that the US would drone Yemen instead of them. cunning move but true to form.
but not because they wanted them to win. Just to keep the killing going.
and they didn't want Yemen joined so they worked to 'strangle the new Yemen at birth'. They have also been supporting all these tribes which are causing problems and not allowing the state to unify properly. I see this as just another Saudi attempt to destroy Yemen, there could be a little bit of xenophobia in it wanting to commit a genocide on the Zaidi because of their disgust of non wahhabi Muslims. Saleh was himself a Shia. Did you know that? Yet while in office he was trying to spread Wahhabism. Wonder why that was. You are losing Margot. You are giving me more ammunition. I suggest you have a rest. In any case I have visitors arriving in a few minutes.

I suppose it happened because your aid isn't serious enough. If you would offer her something like this

The Saudis in AQ fought against the Soviets in Afghanistan.. They were Deobandi and believed in Muslim Brotherhood ideology.

Al Jazeera is from Qatar and they are opposed to KSA .. as they side with Iran . They side with Iran because Iran and Qatar share the South Pars gasfield and Qatar wants a gas pipeline across Syria which Assad had refused them.

Qatar is a tiny, very rich country and they host AQ, Boko Haram, Taliban .. just about every terrorist organization their is.

Al Jazeera, also known as JSC, is a state-funded broadcaster in Doha, Qatar, owned by the Al Jazeera Media Network. So you will find that Qatar's point of view is biased and not particularly honest.

I didn't know this discussion was about winning or losing.

The fanatics in Afghanistan were not just Saud's but yes that is where the US became friends with Saudi Arabia apart from her oil. The CIA found it real cool that the Sauds would provide fanatics. Found them well better than democratic Afghans like Abdul Haq because they knew the fanatics would keep on fighting whereas the democratic minded ones would want to come to a truce and of course they wanted to bankrupt the Russians.

Nope that is the tale you always try to tell. There certainly were extremists who had been in the Muslim Brotherhood and had tried to take it to an extremist level and had ended up in jail in Egypt and become even more extremist but it was the Sauds who provided the education for Refugee Afghans and Rawa said that education was the most religious extremist possible. They were teaching the children to become fanatical fighters not to know the three R's or anything about Afghan Tradition. Call it what you want, it was the Sauds who initiated and paid for it just like it was the Sauds who provided the material to be taught in British Mosques which taught them that they had a strong responsibility to Saudi Arabia.

Sweatheart you are the person who provided that article. I will admit it did make me think Qatar had something going for it to be presenting Al Jazeera despite the Sauds saying they will keep her boycotted until she shuts it down...but no your argument does not hold. This was 2013. Qatar was originally involved in the coalition against Yemen. Al Jazeera was speaking the truth. I have noticed bits and pieces and the article put them together....sorry baby you have not yet been able to shut down probably the one piece of more or less free journalism in the mid east.

but that is all you have been doing Margot. To everything written doing a quick search for something which contradicts it. You have only one reason for being here. Your allegiance to Saudi Arabia. You have no interest in the truth. just to try to keep Saudi Arabia looking like fresh snow and on that you are failing. Actually most of all you seem to be trying to get away from what has just been said. ;)

The dispute doesn't exist because of ISIS in Yemen. The dispute exists because of there is a large minority of Shia in Yemen, that Sunni Saudi Arabia wants to violently oppress. And they do that with American backed up blockade for the sake of starving them to death.

Margot, everything you write is a distraction so the genocide can continue. 50 thousand Yemeni children have died this year alone, how many more dead do you want? Here is something from Dr. Rand Paul. Take note of the end where he said the US will not stand by why Saudi Arabia massacres its unarmed neighbor.

You are an Eastern European native, A Russian but not from the most developed part of it judging by your BS, a Russian to another East European is like an Arab city dweller to his villager neghbor, a slight upgrade but hardly noticable.

So you say we have no chance :) who cares what you think ? :) because you are Russian ? lol you know Israleis that want to be doctors will travel to Russia or another **** hole in East Europe because the stidies there are much much easier. they wont get an Israeli certificate but they can still practice it at lower circles.

Russia arms Arabs for decades and that's the best way the West gets your Tech, we simply take from them :)

There is a global dispute between Shia and Sunni and those that opress in one place get opressed in another, its really not important to talk who started or who gets more opressed, the thing is the dispute exists period, now those that sadly still need to trade with Arabs because they are part of the world - must chose a parter and by doing that they make the other an enemy by default, its not a Western thing - its an Arab thing.

That is the way it is being expressed by the papers and it may be becoming true but it is not historically true. It is a pretty new thing people think originating from 79 when Iran became a theocratic State. Then Saudi Arabia saw Iran as a threat to her for being the main voice of Muslims. In Yemen's North where the Sauds are blockading and the people are starving and dying of cholera due to the Saudi blockade, the sunnie and Zadi - a sort of Shia sect have a history of sharing Mosques and many Sunnies have joined their rebel group the Houthies.

But its still a 100% Arab, or rather a Muslim dispute and the rest of the world needs to deal with it according to the disputing sides "rules", it was not initiated by the West.

Well that is a good question. As it can easily be seen to come from British Colonialism I am not sure you are right there. The West Has been involved and still is involved as well. It isn't though a Muslim dispute. I don't think so as far as Yemen is concerned. I think that is more about the economy. That is what the Houthis were going on about not religion and that as well as being well angry with their previous president for allowing the US to bomb and drone them at will claiming it was either himself or the houthis is what was the prime motivations for their attempt at an Arab Spring - one of the first and most conscientious but hardly heard about in the West. Like everything though there are many dimensions. It could be said to be so due to Saudi Arabias desire for control over it something which has been going on since it came into being as I described here http://www.politicalforum.com/index...ine-in-decades.518794/page-15#post-1068291849

but then Saudi Arabias fears of Shia come from their desire to rule the Muslim World and their fear people may prefer Iran.

Shias and Sunnis in Yemen have a history of getting on. Of course the influx of Al Qaeda from Saudi Arabia and from then on is another thing. ;)

    http://america.aljazeera.com/articles/2015/1/21/houthi-conflict-in-yemen-and-fight-against-aqap.html

That is from 2015 and is describing the situation that the US found itself in as to which side to support. It could of course have kept out. At the same time Sunnis in the North are still fighting with the Houthi as they are well to do if Al Qaeda or worse is not for them. ;)

No. I am a Western Asian native. I am a Siberian.
Jew, I'll say you a great secret. There is no difference between people in Russia. Any person that lives in Russia is a Russian. Even if this person is a Jew. As for Arabs. You are an Arab. Jews and Arabs are the same nation. Are you surprised? Study your history. And a shot from my hometown factory. I am sure, in your town they do something cooler, but you have to see it :)
Do you think I have to care that you don't care? Wow... It's a free advise only. If it's free then I have no an aim to foist it anybody. Because nobody will pay my job. As a Jew you have to understand me well :)
I think you are wrong. Do you know that Germans come to my town for to be treated? As I know especially for treating teeth and gynecological problems. And we don't like doctors from Israel because they like money more than patients. Nobody here would go to the doctor from your country. It's really true :)

Doctors that like money wont work in Russia.....
And it wasnt an advice you just thought to scare me with your threats, cowards that fear themselves from attacks everyday would think that such threats can indimidate another, but not everyone are cowards, I fought for my country and I met my enemies, I dont fear them.

Every foreign national who works in KSA has always needed a sponsor. The document is called Igama.

Al Jazeera is the state owned newspaper from Qatar, so they tailor their reporting to be anti- Saudi Arabia.
