Yes, MSM has much to do with feeding these stories. Some may be true and some not. Some may involve illegal activity and some may not. The allegations that are coming out in several of these cases though are just that until and unless the accused either admits to wrong doing or the accusers can prove wrong doing.

Voters should be the only judges of elected officials and candidates.

 

Don’t have a ton of sympathy for them. Played with fire. Got burnt.

John Conyers is guilty of sexual harassment using today's definition.
When Al Franken was front page news, I was told that Conyers had some history and would possibly be exposed.
Obviously he wont be convicted, at the worst possibly censured by the ethics committee.
It's time for him to retire, the democrats won't loose that seat in Detroit.

Cokie Roberts: Oh, We All Knew To Avoid Getting in An Elevator With Rep. Conyers falls far short of the appropriate condemnation of the cozy relationship the media have with politicians of the appropriate party.

Speaking on ABC's "This Week," Cokie Roberts made a startling admission: "every female in the press corps knew" to avoid being in an elevator with Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), and has apparently known about this "for years." Conyers has been accused of multiple instances of sexual harassment and has stepped down from the House Judiciary Committee.
Does anyone doubt that Cokie would have done a nine-part exposé on "Rape In The Halls Of The Capitol" had the ass-grabber been a Republican?

So to Cokie Roberts and all of the other "journalists" who ignored a big story in furtherance of their political beliefs, I address two points:

First, how many unsuspecting women were attacked by Conyers and the other predators in Congress because you kept their dirty big secret? Were any raped. molested, driven from their jobs? If so, it is on your pointy little heads!

Second, your craven and arrogant belief that you were serving the greater good by keeping those sordid secrets from a public that is owed the information. The Constitution doesn't protect the press from government interference on the condition that it is protected in return. Your only function is to pull back the curtains and expose government, not coddle it to protect your perks. You are disgusting and immoral

 

According to the local news this morning, reporters are camped out at his home already to ask about the latest accusations and the pressure to resign.
