    My mom used to make whip cream from scratch.But today they
    have Reddi Whip which is pretty good and sells for under $2
    a can at Wal*Mart.Just 4 shakes of the can and yer good.
    Maybe more if shooting a retake of Mickey Rourke's silly sex film :

    If you ever talked to him you would think so. He was interested in music and his son said he had a beautiful voice. So when I hear Dean Martin I think of Flounder.

    Artichokes I like artichokes. Once in Coral Gables, I was in an elevator, and this man gets on the elevator eating an artichoke. Well, elevators are like airports you never know what you might see.. I am sure Dr. Seuss could write a story about that..lol.

    He really did. It was all about the family. Flounder is one of those people you were grateful to know along way.

    When we first were made staff here he said to me something like, 'How does this work? Is this a good cop, bad cop thing? If so, Im the good cop.' I said, 'Why the hell am I automatically the bad cop'? He said, 'Because you're a natural.' Im laughing just typing that. He just had a way of making you feel like you knew him forever.

    Pies are done. Cranberry orange sauce is done. The house smells great.
    Nobody better touch them pies until tomorrow. That's all Im sayin'.

    I made an apple turnover too.
    Its the shinny object principle.
    Like don't look at those pies. Quick, look over here. Its an apple turnover you can eat now.
    With time comes experience. lol

    Yes I do.....so I had to run out and get me a Hungry Man Turkey Pie. Well 2 of them. I got stuffing, Green beans, Cranberry sauce, some dinner rolls and a Sweet Potato Pie.

    So I will be good to go this year. I have to go into work early tonight and will end up working until 2 or 3am. Then back in Early tomorrow night. Damn news never stops.

    Don’t do it! I was given wild turkey for Christmas a few years ago. It made me have nightmares of evil clowns trying to eat me. I managed to finish the bottle but swore it off for life.

    You know, I'm prone to depression. In the grand scheme of things, mine has been pretty moderate. I've been treated for it, though.

    My words of wisdom are: If you can keep from killing yourself; once you get old, one day is the same as the next. It doesn't matter if you're with a big family, or alone. It doesn't matter if it's a holiday or birthday or whatever. Today is like yesterday and like tomorrow will be.

    You won't feel differently just because of some arbitrary emphasis on any particular day.

    I AM old. And yep..today was like yesterday and tomorrow will be like today. One foot in front of the other, same o same o until I gasp my last. Every holiday I just get more numb so that's a plus. But, I keep a smile on my face and pretend all is well. Who wants to ruin other peoples good time? Certainly not me. So....Happy Turkey Day tomorrow and Merry Christmas next month. *big smile*.
