    criminals and control freaks would be much safer because criminals will use whatever weapon they find most effective and control freaks will hope government agents carry out their schemes

    nope, banning semi autos would harm millions of Americans and would have very little impact on those who plan on committing multiple counts of capital murder

    I believe free citizens have a duty to defend their rights. I saw this on a guy's laptop-he's a friend of mine who served three tours in Nam

    I want to use the same class of weapons (semi-auto and full auto) to protect myself and my family as do the bodyguards of the Clintons, Bloomberg, Cuomo, and the Private Military Company personnel that defended the homes of the elite in the aftermath of Katrina (while the police went door to door confiscating legally owned weapons from the peons). When it is illegal for the bodyguards of the rich and elite to carry or possess semi-auto weapons then and only then will it be appropriate for ordinary people to give up their semi-auto weapons.

    my simple and honest gun control law-any firearm that the police in your state can use, other private citizens can own, possess, buy, keep and bear as well as using in a lawful way. Same federally.. ANY FIREARM (I understand the secret service has SAMS to protect the white house) FEDERAL CIVILIAN LE AGENCIES have access too other civilians can freely own etc.

    don't want honest shopkeepers, housewives, doctors, beauticians etc having a machine gun or a "sniper rifle" then don't allow civilian cops to have access to them. if its TOO dangerous for honest civilians to even OWN in their own homes, its too dangerous for somewhat trained cops to be carrying locked and loaded on civilian streets

    that's a worthless trolling line-millions of Americans use and enjoy owning semi auto firearms. You pretend banning those items wouldn't upset anyone or harm anyone?

    sure-if they started being priced reasonably. its stupid to spend 20K for something that cost only 500 dollars to make because liberals passed the Hughes Amendment. The NFA should be wiped out and honest citizens ought to be able to buy a M16 or MP 5 as easily as a 22 target rifle

    you don't seem to understand the concept of a constitutional right or a free society. why do you post on message boards? you really don't need to. In fact you probably don't need to have a computer. As long as there are people like you who want to restrict our freedoms, I want patriotic Americans armed with as effective weapon as possible that meets the definition of "arms" and is useful for self defense

    This argument comes up every other page but no one will honestly answer the question ''did aviation rules change after 9/11?''
    Suplementary question, has there been another attack like 9/11 since those rules were changed?

    Most correct, especially in terms of asymmetric warfare. It makes the anti's put skin in the game, something most of them lack the courage to do.
