It is hard to imagine how much worse it can get than the mess Tillerson made at State, but given the behavior of this corrupt and serially incompetent Adminstration, one should not expect much.
Has he really done so bad I mean he has had to deal with Trumps tweets interfering with every connection he tried to make. I mean the guy had one of the worst jobs in Washington, trying to make Trump look reasonable to the rest of the world. From my perspective he did the best a man can do. It is kind of like that guy who does not want trouble but his women picks fights with other guys in bars and you have to settle it.
The instability Don has brought to the country by making cabinet and staff picks of people for reasons other than competence is stunning.
I happen to agree. I was actually somewhat relieved that Tillerson was picked initially. But I have begun to suspect that he is on a one man crusade to wreck the one Federal agency that he thinks gave Exxon the most trouble when he was trying to glad hand his way into Siberia's oil reserves. We all have to remember that Exxon thinks it is a power unto itself, and Tillerson never worked outside that culture in his entire career. Also, one has to consider the almost certain fact that Tillerson was picked pricisely BECAUSE he was the one who did the Exxon deal with Putin. It was intended as a clear signal that the Trump Adminstration was going to go hand's off on anything Putin wanted to do, by putting a man who was already a friend of Putin in that spot. None the less, Rex Tillerson won wide praise as a very effective CEO at Exxon. It is alarming to see someone once regarded as a competent manager devastate an agency using the tools of bureaucracy to do it.
He is out because he refused to endorse Ivanka on her trip to India. Remember that Trump operates on two principles: Vindictiveness and narcissism.
A VERY LOW Bar. One of the "better picks" of an UNPREPARED IMBECILE? I have always considered Tillerson to be an Aloof, Arrogant, TOOL. (In way over his head at the State Dept.) The ONLY Trump appointment that I agreed with (on any level) was Nikki Haley at UN. Darling Nikki has more class and competence than all of the rest of the Trump Administration combined. The Trump Administration is an ongoing DISASTER for America. :smfh:
Might be true, might not be true. But why anyone would trust the Democratic Party operatives posing as journalists at the New York Times to accurately report the truth is beyond me...
Are you indicating that the great majority of 'journalists' who work for organizations such as the New York Times are NOT biased? Really? Sadly, they, and others of their ilk, are no more reliable than Breitbart on the right; both 'news' organizations are driven by partisan zeal rather than journalistic integrity. Many liberals/progressives/socialists are unaware of this bias, being that they are in the midst of a leftist echo chamber. For insight, see https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0026IUP2C/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1 for starters. Also, note how 'journalists' are in and out of Democratic administrations. The Atlantic had a great article abut this during Obama's first term" https://www.theatlantic.com/politic...urnalist-go-work-obama-administration/310928/ Or this: https://www.politico.com/story/2009/02/dem-exclusive-reporters-jump-ship-018971 Or this: https://www.politico.com/magazine/s...bubble-real-journalism-jobs-east-coast-215048 Where do these partisan Democrats go after a Democrat is out of power? Why, they resume their 'journalism' career. Thus, as I frequently note, these people are simply Democratic Party operatives posing as journalists...
I'm not sure how you got to that from my asking what sources you use. Let me ask again, what sources do you use?
