Who is classier, Obama or Trump?

This is obviously a subjective question. But I do remember the right on these boards decrying Obama's lack of class. Feet on the desk, family travelling on Air Force 1 underdressed etc...
Now that Trump has been president for 1 year and he has time to become the 'presidential' leader he said he would become, who do you think has more class?

 

obama had no class and did not respest the office.

reagan, the last real president with class until trump respected the oval office so much that he would not go there without a coat and tie.

no, really, this was a "thing."

obama's background seems (who really knows?) to be working class. trump probably couldn't join an old money country club if he did not own one.

 

There isn't even a comparison. Trump has zero class. Obama has a great deal. Class is character: Trump has zero. Obama has a lot. For one thing, was Obama ever unfaithful to his wife? Can anyone imagine him being accused of sexual misconduct? Of walking in on half dressed pageant contestents? Of forcing kisses on women? Of grabbing their genitals? Trump is the most classless president we have ever had.

 

Thing with trump is that when someone asked if he had any class he thought they said arse and told them he had lots!!!

 

Not wearing a coat and tie or putting your feet up on the desk have nothing to do with class. Class is character.

 

showing my age, thelma, but i remember when mr carter, an extremely classey guy who still sends me a xmas card, was leaving the white house carrying his own bag. that was, according to the press, a sign that the reagans were "bringing class back to the white house."

these are degraded times, i suppose, and we must strive to have enough character not to be degraded by them.

 

Carter had and has ten times more class than Reagan ever did. He is probably the classiest prez we ever had: loads of character.

 

Why do you get a xmas card from Carter? I know someone who would be in 7th heaven if she got a xmas card from him.

 

Obama is definitely the classier dresser; he always looks sharp. Trump has a, sort of, frump thing going. But, that's not really the issue, is it?

 

lol, i did make a very small campaign contribution lo those many years ago. i have worked with him (and many others) on a few habitat projects post katrina. on a job like that he is very much a good guy, not unlike the best co workers i've had over the years.

There are photos of every US president with his feet on the desk in the oval office and photos of every one without their suit coat.

That is NOT what "class" is about.

During the Obama's stay at the White House the White House was over run with rats (Chicago sewer rats they say), cucarachas, and flies.

The Obama's allowed the White House to be used as a flop house and public housing at tax payers expense like allowing Valerie Jarrett free room and board for eight years.

Under Obama the White House had to add an extra trash dumpster just for empty wine bottles and beer bottles.

Michelle Obama always jet setting around thew world on the tax payers dime.
