The worlds doesn't respect Trump. Period. And as a result, the USA is suffering in it's stature, a stature that China and Germany are quickly gaining.

It's horrible to see what Trump and his band of sycophants have accomplished. There was a time not that long ago that Russian intentions were always suspect, but with this band of delusionals, that crime ridden nation is celebrated. That is a true definition of "sad".

Trump has voluntarily abandoned the USA role as world leader, for which so much blood was shed. Putin is on cloud nine these days, Xi Jinping too.

I have my doubts that this country will recover from this, regardless of time and effort. It truly is a very sad thing to be forced to watch. Those who are assisting in this either do not care or are incapable of seeing it.

Hey, you need to tell the team leader that not everyone has a subscription to the NY Times, so this hours effort is going to be difficult to spread.

    Explain your position.

Because everything you typed is just words, words, words.

You're using a lot of words but you're not saying anything, feel me?

Also I cant read that article because NYT either has some pay-wall or doesn't like my adblocking so copy paste some segments from it if you need to.

    ..

And I would ask: What good is the respect of these nations anyways?

Nations that have massive terrible human rights problems, nations that have cucked their own people with crippling taxation or "refugee" inundation or global warming scams, nations that belligerently condemn the US for being awesome and then cry to us for salvation in the form of military might, nations that we're all too happy to have us marginalize our exceptionalism and sacrifice our prosperity during the bow-at-the-hip days of Obama.

If what you are this dribble article are saying is true ...who cares?

Who gives a crap about what these other countries think.

We are the ones who are constantly giving aid to ALL these other countries when they need help.

If they don't like our help or money, then ****'em.

Pssssst! While Trump leads, the rest of the world will follow...

More lunacy. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

C'mon people, snap out of it! You're becoming a genuine risk to yourselves and society.

P.S. If this thread is meant as satire, please excuse my mistake.

If it's trolling, ya got me!

Oh my goodness...what a discombobulated, illogical rant that article was. The writer sounds mentally ill and disturbed.

Are you joking? How suspect does Trump think of Putin?

US to send anti-tank missiles to Ukraine
President Donald Trump is expected to announce his approval of a plan to sell anti-tank missiles to the Ukrainian government, a move that would mark a significant escalation in lethal U.S. military support for Ukrainian forces battling Russian-aligned forces in the border region, four State Department sources tell ABC News.

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/sour...nce-approval-plan-sell-anti/story?id=51957745

And this after standing up to Russia in Syria.

And we just put the UN on notice especially to the criminal dictators.

We ate getting our respect back, we will axt in our self interest and will protect those self interest which is freedom both political and economis for everyone. If you don't support us then there will be consequences such as less American money and resources.

You know, I thought exactly the same thing in 2016.

Then came November 9, 2017, and my doubts of recovery were reversed....

Good god man, this country has survived two civil wars and two invasions. 'Brutal' doesn't come close to describing the United State's birth, second civil war, the war of 1812 or its losses in a few world wars.

Nattering naybobs of negatively. Daym who said that?

I am actually failing to see what this gibberish has to do with the title of this thread - "The self-destruction of American Democracy".

The only danger to the american democracy is these idiotic attempts to unseat democratically elected president who won fair and square. But that does not seem to be what you are talking about.

Electing the candidate the elites despise is the definition of democracy.
