    Yeah, I'm sure that's really what he wanted :roll:

    He wanted more power for his race in the confines of a white dominated system, so he pushed for parity with them. That's as much as he could have gotten away with at that time. If he could have gotten away with more, he would have.

    Sympathizes with Nazis, and keeps a copy of Mein Kampf by his bedside...

    Has cheated on every wife he's ever had

    Attended sex parties held by a convicted pedophile, at which underage girls were raped, and has been accused by several women of raping them at those parties

    Has been accused of sexual harassment by girls as young as 13 who took part in teen beauty pageants held by him, and often walked into the dressing rooms of those pageants and watched the girls undress.

    Stated that he has the right, because he's rich and famous, to sexually harass any women he wants, and that even if they do have issues with it, do nothing to stop him because of who he is.

    I'm opposed to the holiday its not the whole purpose as in honoring civil rights but the man is a religious figure and a public holiday supports the Christian message over other voices including non-religious ones so I would prefer a National Civil Rights Day over one for one man who was a good man but a minister. I find it unconstitutional.

    Nice trying to deface a man who did much for the African American community and the Civil Rights movement. MLK Jrs speeches are covered today because they are speeches of wisdom, justice and love. Speeches that would be contradictory to today’s toxic climate.

    How is speaking on wisdom, justice and love because they’serve a left wing political objective? MLK Jr is an admired figure, except maybe for the white supremacists that were able to hide under the rug in the 60s. I wouldn’t be surprised if the idiot who shot him was a white supremacist.

    No one in this thread has been able to defend the man MLK Jr. They've only defended the idea of the man. The reason for that is because this man iwas an indefensible piece of human filth.

    So you believe he did nothing to advance the cause of civil rights in this country? Again, if we to apply consistent standards to Don and King then everything you folks believe President Shithole accomplished is meaningless because of his deficiencies as a human being.

    That was a quote from the autobiography of MLK written by the man who for lack of a better term, was second in command. It would not be far-fetched to believe MLK was involved in at least one sex party. It is not proof.
