I agree with your first sentence but the other two statement are hyperbolic and likely overactive exaggerations possibly bordering on being built upon the foundation of homogenized bovine excrement with a frosting made of partisan wanking.

These so called parents are from what we know lower than bacteria and deserve serious punishment but unfortunately there is no state or federal law that affords the death penalty for what they did.

What would have been justice served is if after the police removed the children the parents were chained and padlocked like the children were and basolinecwas poured on the parent and they were handed a box of matches and told to play match sticks. Those two so called "parents" are not humans they are Fecal matter eating bacteria who have no rights except the right to die.

 

They were Christians, seemingly homeschooled the children with a lot of the Bible and not very much else and had their day school where their home is as I assume under a religious school exemption most states have allowing them to be off the radar.

I guarantee you that they had close calls before that. Anyone who's doing something this monstrous is going to slip up eventually. People like Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer, or John Wayne Gacy all got away with their crimes for a long time because the police just didn't do their jobs.

But this is also the point in the life cycle of a monster where there's no coming back for them. They're going to spend the rest of their lives in prison, and we may or may not ever find out what made them tick like this.

People are going to try to come up with explanations for this that fit it into some narrative to comfort themselves, but in reality it was the random predation of simple evil. There is no higher reason for this.

That's just silly to say California will let these people off with parenting classes. Such a statement illustrates that prejudices render you incapable of thinking rationally.

The parents are held on multi-million dollar bails, which they cannot possibly meet. They are going to be tried for crimes that will probably put them in jail for life.

Get over your hatred of California; think about kids all over the country who are abused. These people are from the South origninally, from Texas more recently. They are not originally from California. This is a common thing about California. Probably half of 'Californians' are from all over the country. So attacking California or Californians is ludicrous. The police and medical authorities have told us the kids were imprisoned, were chained to beds, are mentally and physically not at the level they should be for their ages, and were starving. The hospital that is taking care of them has reported their deplorable and dangerous physical and mental health.

According to the hospital they are 'severely malnurished' and severely under weight.

The police have reported the conditions of the house. The media has NOTHING to do with this.

These people are AMERICANS; illegal aliens have nothing to do with this topic.
