That's what Sessions might think, but he's going to find himself mistaken badly.

Trump might have to finally fire him over this ****!

Sessions is a world-class assbag. He needs to be put out to pasture.

I think it's a good thing, maybe Congress will get off their a$$es and make it legal. I view it as states rights. We had a referendum where I live, it passed and the rest is history. I do think Sessions is over his head in this job and his priorities are skewed.

All I want is to stop smoking mids ******mit, give me some west coast hydro in this midwestern hellhole. I don't need good reasons to hate Sessions, I have undiluted lust for weed.

I look forward to the day we can award the Hon. Sessions with his own holiday when he passes--Sessions day--when we can all come together to enjoy a momentary blunt session in memory of his incredible luna--I mean--legacy!

Jefferson "Smoke" Sessions has actually caused my friends to begin nicknaming marijuana induced mishaps as "Jeffing a Session"

I imagine it might feel like a great thing when one's in the pleasant position of watching the whole issue play out when one's not in the thick of it.

No offense to you, personally. I understand your point, but with such significant bipartisan support, Congress shouldn't need to let Sessions play the doddering, unwitting hero of MM. They should have acquiesced years ago. To be fair, Sessions isn't the only dinosaur; he's just now in a far more secure area of government where running his mouth doesn't typically come with risk of losing voter support.

Marijuana should not be a scheduled one substance, it has valid medical uses, why is sessions ignoring that fact

the law is clear, you can only classify a substance as scheduled one IF it has no medical uses

I may not be in the middle but I do know what marijuana did for my son in law he used it when he had chemo and radiation therapy for cancer. It helped him so I imagine it helps other people with cancer and other health problems. It's a cheap, plentiful and WORKS. EDIT: If Congress fixes this then we don't have to worry about it again. It's Federal law and the feds have to fix it. It's time.

Do you take CBO or THC? I'm with you on this but I'm also and honest user! And I don't use CBO's because I simply like to get "HIGH" ;)

Obama's "Deep State" DEA and DOJ was hankering to mess with MJ states even during his reign. Lefties who don't believe a "Deep State" exists are sadly mistaken.

I don't think anyone doubts that the Deep State exists, since it was coined to describe elements of the state that aren't democratically accountable, and that's everywhere. I think that people only doubt that they're locked in an epic battle with Trump.

My man, we don't agree on much of anything, but we both know it exists. Sometimes I think there's a basement under DC where the Wizard is pulling mandolin strings. But you'd be shocked at how many left leaning folks deny it's existence.

My thing is, I think that most people are too selfish and petty for a big conspiracy to last long. I think there's conspiracies everywhere, but I think they're little ones that consist primarily of people covering their own asses. A lot of people rely on the implication that society is being manipulated by some expert puppetmasters to explain things that are more easily explained by analyzing how power is structured and what incentives and disincentives people have. It's a lot less likely that someone is pulling the strings considering how dumb most people in the government are though, and how dumb people in general are.

I think about 100 million people would if they decriminalized it. Of course, there will still be those who could somehow manage to kill an artificial plant.
