It makes Obama’s look bad and not Trump that’s why the liberal media is ignoring it.

Trump can't even crack a fart without the MSM going coo coo and you want him to do what, Grassley told him to stay out of this and he's doing that.

I'm so glad that you and Tererun have seen what the committee has already seen and you're so kind to offer your opinion on all the documents to everyone here so we can be so well informed. Thanks so much.

FISA is for foreign spies inside the US.. If you are an unregistered representative for a foreign government and have obtained security clearance based on a pack of lies, you have walked into the surveillance.

The standard is only slightly higher for an American like Manafort.

Approval of a FISA application requires the court find probable cause that the target of the surveillance be a "foreign power" or an "agent of a foreign power", and that the places at which surveillance is requested is used or will be used by that foreign power or its agent.

To follow up on Hoosier's post, once FISA is approved then this:

Three degrees of separation: breaking down the NSA's 'hops' surveillance method
    [IMG]
You don’t need to be talking to a terror suspect to have your communications data analysed by the NSA. The agency is allowed to travel “three hops” from its targets – who could be people who talk to people who talk to people who talk to you. Facebook, where the typical user has 190 friends, shows how three degrees of separation gets you to a network bigger than the population of Colorado. How many people are three “hops” from you?

Feinstein jacked a Senate Judiciary Committee investigation by unilaterally releasing a transcript of testimony given behind closed doors.

Why can't Republicans follow her lead here?

Just leak it. That's what Democrats do.

Yeah uh..... that didn’t go down like that. There actually is no email, it was supposedly said in person. Not even 100% sure she said it.

    Because it's classified.
The memo will be released unless Trump stops it. Once the committee voted to release, which they did, Trump has 5 days to respond. He can block it's release should he choose by not declassifying it or he could do nothing and it will then be released.
In the meantime, Republicans get 5 days to use their entire repertoire of button words like horrifying, scandalous, nausiating, blockbuster et al aimed at setting the tone. It's the old "In my hand" bit all over again. Even if it turns out to be nothing their grandstanding has saved Trump from another week of being bashed for saying and doing ignorant things.

Of course Trump could release it now. No one is "blocking" it's release, there's just some who don't believe it should be for whatever reason, they're not saying.

What I am saying is you are right they did exactly that. However the patriot act gives them the authority to do it. It is not them acting against the law they are within the law when they do that because the patriot act is a horrible attack on private citizens.
