I don't know of a poll that answers that specific question, but if you look at the job approval ratings it's probably not as many as you would hope for.

It is irrelevant. Unless we change and go with popular vote, where democratic urban areas pick every president. And frankly, give the democratic party is no longer the party of average americans, in that they sure as hell do not represent them, this would be a very bad thing, for the down trodden.

Personally, as an old democrat, no longer in that party, due to bill clinton, I do not want the west coast and NYC choosing our presidents. BTW, didn't the 3 million votes that hillary beat trump with come from Ca. and NY? You want those two states, especially Ca. choosing every president? Not me. What we have right now is gerrymandered one party rule and it does not represent the downtrodden or hardworking Americans so your argument above is null and void.

The EC has become a farce where the votes in rural areas have greater value than those in other areas. Why should the vote of a HS dropout ex coal miner in Appalachia stoned out of his mind on opioids count for more than a hardworking American in upper NY state? Because essentially you are saying that some Americans must have their votes considered to be superior to others. Why does your vote mean more than mine? What makes my vote inferior to yours?
