    That's not relevant in the context of my question. I'm not sure if he knows who is in charge of the government. I'm not even sure if he knows there are different branches of government. I know you think i'm being tongue in cheek here, but look at his replies. They're almost all one or two sentence blurbs without any substance. It's not clear he has the most basic understanding of how our government works.

    Let's put this in context. Was that the shutdown where barry shutdown all the monuments in DC with barriers and those old Vets, some in wheelchairs that travelled many miles to see the memorial were turned away? I remember the citizens threw a fit and barry backed down.

    Yeah a little political theatre. Another area that trump just beats the hell outta obama.
    Givne trump's recent trump inc. "production" of his political reality show, I am presidential, topic:immigration, starring donald trump, in his very own cabinet "studio" says "you people in this room and others bring me a deal that does these things and I sign it because I can take the heat, A great performance and pathetic demonstration of leadership.

    Right outta the park. Trump wins the chump award fairly and squarely.

    the total would have only been 55 with all republicans. only 5 dems voted to keep the gov going. haven't seen a complete list of the five, but my guess it is the most vulnerable dem senators.

    how? trump won a national election with immigration being a center point. now, the dems just voted against a funding bill in support of the opposite side of a nationally winning position. I think you guys completely misunderstand where the majority of the nation stands on immigration.
