So claim that you "respect" the service of retired military service members but not enough "respect" for military retirees to be paid for the the years of service. I suppose that you do not believe that the widows and children of the fallen should have received any financial help or life insurance payments. I get it just like the Trumpocity who said ( fuguratively) screw them they knew what they were getting into.

So you "respect " the guy who loses both of his kegs but you begrudge any compensation for him since you do "not respect" what you call "entitlements". Were those who lost limbs serving our country and protecting your freedom and right to live are not "entitled" to live in semi didnity because you who I do not know but very likely have down nothing or less than nothing for his country begrudge them compensation.
So maybe you want amputees to sit on the sidewalks with metal cups and beg for coins and when you walk by would you SPIT IN THE CUPS THAT THEY HOLD OUT? I think that you would!

Do you like paying for Trump's tax deductions for depreciation and other freebies even if you do not get to do that on your tax returns?

I want to hear from the rest of you Trump supporters do you also begrudge military retirees their military pay and do you also believe that permanently wounded veterans do not deserve compensation and would you SPIT IN THEIR FACES as the author of the post that I am responding to most likely would based upon his attitude.

I have never had much respect for trump supporters but after reading this guy's post I justvwant to vomit when I see pictures of Trump rallies.

Yes, they are two separate issues. And if including one (DACA) is the price for obtaining the other, maybe the Republicans should have done that.

It is called negotiating. Compromise. I know that the idea of compromise is unthinkable to hyper-partisans on both sides of the aisle (see - you do have something in common with hyper-partisan Democrats!) but that is often what it takes to get a deal done.

 

Dems have been pulling this trick for a long time. They cause a problem and then blame republicans.

 

So....how many legs did you lose??or are you just playing on emotions? You know, people outside of government also take risks. An ammunition plant shut down in my hometown leaving several employees unpaid. Do you think just because you put your eggs in the government basket you should be without risk? Don't worry....you know as well as I do you will get your entitlements....it's just a temprary delay, and not all military are a bunch of whiny cry babies. Washington's army went to Valley Forge without pay for months! Yet you demean Trump because he won't give amnesty without border security. Restore the process of passing an annual budget authorization process the Democrats abandoned in 2010.

We'll just ignore that the bill couldn't even garner a simple majority among Republicans and the fact that Trump actively sabotaged the very deals he made and that the House of Representatives obviously had no desire to negotiate as demonstrated by they're bribing the Freedom Caucus to up the deficit once again, passing the bill without any Democrat input, and then skipping town.

 

We have a winner. Trump said that the failure falls at the feet of the POTUS, he said the president is suppose to lead.

 

So now dems are all for tacking unrelated items to budget bills. Go figure.

Big gamble for Dems anybody that has paid any attention know the dems did this to avoid immigration reform and they are little putting the county on hold after America voted for the wall by voting Trump in. And then you have US Politicians (Dem and Rep) who can never agree on time how manage this un-managable amount.
Hence, all these short term extensions, just to postpone the problem.

Now, of course, it's even worse because the current President can't count to 3. (Nor differentiate between a lion, a rhino and a camel.)
You'd expect a proper President to manage this debt crisis, instead of blackmailing Democrats with his beloved deportations. (Apart from his King Kong wall.)

A president's ability to negotiate a 'deal' is made impossible if the opposing political party is out to AMBUSH him, personally.

Fact: Trump told Congress (including the Democrats) early last SEPTEMBER to fix the "DACA dreamer" situation. Trump added that the DACA dreamer issue would be revisited in March 2018.

Fact: Trump reminded Congress (including Democrats) early last NOVEMBER not to stitch the DACA dreamer issue into negotiations to prevent the government from shutting down. Again, everything was set for a complete DACA review in MARCH!

So what did Schumer, Pelosi, and the rabid, Trump-hating Democrat mob do...? They deliberately and maliciously plotted to halt the government, BEFORE the March timetable could even arrive!

What a dirty, conniving scheme -- all done so that they could grab some political leverage for next November's elections by trying to make it look like 'Trump's fault' -- while blatantly pushing and shoving the 'bleeding-heart' aspect of this ridiculous spectacle in showing a hell of a lot more concern for what are in reality -- ILLEGAL ALIENS -- than they do for legitimate citizens of the United States.

While it's true that Americans have been sadly dumbed-down in the public schools for over thirty years, it seems unlikely that this crass Democrat ploy is going to work. You don't have to love Donald Trump to see clearly what these deceitful, rotten Democrats have done here....
