    Roughly at any one time a thousand or so of those military members you care so very must for are part of the DACA group.

    Actually Obama didn't sign an EO. It was a directive put out by the Secretary in charge of immigration as I recall. And yes, it was all perfectly legal and constitutional.

    The Russian attack of a year ago on the US by means of helping a complete fool to become US president is indeed bearing amazing fruits for them.

    At this point nothing would surprise me even the Russians sending the Mexicans a modern version of the Zimmerman telegram.

    The court case was abandoned after Trump became President and put the Dreamer deal back on Congress where it belongs.

    Hmmmm . . . because -- as the history of evidence very strongly suggests -- the average leftist really and truly DOES prefer illegal aliens to the legal citizens who serve this nation in our military. It's not even questionable that they prefer the illegal to the legal. Why, however, is the outstanding huge mystery.

    Another thread blowing smoke. I would consider myself to be an average leftist and I prefer illegals so much more that I served in the Army Airborne from 1952 to 1955. What branch and when did you serve and what branch and when did your golden idol serve?

    I served AD USAF from 89-94 and Texas ANG from 94-99. My son is AD USAF and may be missing his next few paychecks.

    Politics, of course. The far left wants the potential votes that illegals represent. That is far more important to them than the military which they don't really like at all.

    Life would be far simpler and match your viewpoint of life far better if the very people you hate and wish to removed are not to the tune of a few thousands over time standing between us and our enemies.

    Some had already had given their lives to protect their and our nation.

    So yes indeed I must prefer them to the haters who wish to removed them out of our nation motivated by their bigotry.

    I had never been more ashamed of some of my fellow citizens as I had been over the last year or so.

    It would seems that the great experiment in self government started by the founders are showing signs of failing due to a far greater percent of the population being fools and bigots then I had ever dream of being possible aided to some degree by a foreign nation successful attacks on our institutes

    By some, we mean a small portion of military servicemen. I thank them for their service, but I'm not about to base my immigration policy on a few worthy souls. To quote Donald Trump: A Nation without borders is not a nation. A Nation without laws, is not a nation.

    We're done making compromises on things that are crucial to America's integrity as a country.

    Those so call few worthy souls the last I look are a far larger percent of the total DACA group then the children and grandchildren of our congressmen and women being in our military.

    My point was your answer. Thanks for the answer and your service and your sons service. Your comment regarding Clinton and Obama are noted. If you wanted to be fair you would list about 11 other presidents who never served in the military but why do that?
