82 Percent of the Wealth Generated Last Year 'Went to the Richest 1 Percent of the Global Population'

Trump and the republicans called it a middle class tax cut. We have a stupidity pandemic in this country. And the feminist democrat party just makes it easier for the fascists to win again in November. Stupid vs. stupid...what a country!

Look at your leadership. They hate non-minority middle class people. Keep voting for that ilk, keep losing!

That's probably not too far off. People wonder why we laugh at Fake News. They twist and turn the narrative at will.

It's right I just checked. 32000 might be good in other parts of the world but in America that's barely getting by. Is the left seriously upset that people barely getting by saved a few bucks?

Sure do. I know the left is really upset about the middle class tax cut but we will see come February when people see more take home pay if they are still upset.

Ok, I will bite, give us a credible link to your certainty. I have no idea if you are right or not. If it is correct the upper 1/10 of the one percent is probably getting 80 out of the 82 percent. So we also need, besides the link, the context, the fine details. Otherwise people might use such stats falsely, or sneakily to back up their ideological beliefs. SO, just the facts ma'am as Joe Friday said.

Look at the leadership of your party. They hate everyone who isn't male, white, christian, and wealthy. The base just keeps voting for them anyway.

Why the GOP Tax Cut Will Make Wealth Inequality So Much Worse

    https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2017/12/gop-tax-bill-inequalilty/548726/

Within a week, Republicans will probably pass a corporate tax cut that is one of the most unpopular major pieces of legislation in modern American history. This is a rather curious distinction for a bill that cuts taxes for nearly every American family.

How can a trillion-dollar tax cut be so unpopular?

One possibility is that Americans don’t like the bill because they don’t understand what it does. More than half of Americans don’t think that the Republicans’ bill will reduce their taxes in 2018. That’s a striking statistic, since new research from the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center (TPC) finds that the vast majority of the country, including 90 percent of middle-class families, will get a tax break.

But another possibility is that Americans don’t like the tax bill because they understand exactly what it does. Most Americans seem to think that the GOP tax bill overwhelmingly benefits the rich at a moment when large corporations and affluent families don’t need much legislative assistance in their multi-decade dominion over the economy. In fact, the GOP tax bill does just that.

Yes, they have successfully motivated a lot of hatred towards minorities of all kinds......religious, racial, sexual......while favoring corporate profits over the health and well being of all Americans.

Yes, WOW. But it may be similar to how it breaks down in the US, proportionally. Of our 1 percent, the top 1/10 to 2/10ths is where much of the income goes. So, as I said earlier, in that global 1 percent, and of the 82 percent mentioned, my money says most of the 82, goes to the top 1/10th, perhaps the 2/10ths, of that one percent

Not sure what source Daily Mail used though. They are kinda in the tabloid sector, in some cases. Not sure I would ever use them as a source is what I am saying, but perhaps they did use a reliable, non biased source.

To address your bold part, yes, and perhaps reasonably so, if it ends up with the middle getting say, a one percent reduction in taxes while the rich get 2 percent. Wonder which group will see the greatest reduction in their "actual" tax rate, after loopholes and general deductions? I sure do not know. But a good guess given this is coming from the gop, is the rich will see the greatest reduction in actual tax rates. It is the GOP after all.

Numbers are all over the place, but the above must be bogus. CNN money says you must make 429K in the USA to make the 1%. Logic dictates it's WAY less globally.

Christians don't let the rich take from the poor, the elderly, and children with tax scams. They are false prophets that help Trump and the GOP enslave the world. And it's taking them down to perdition.

Umm. The tax plan had nothing to do with 2017. You really should just delete this moronic thread.
