Not a troll or a snark thread. I am genuinely curious about your answers. I also have no intention of arguing with you about them. I may ask a follow up question though.

What is the number one thing President Trump would have to do (or not do) to lose your support?

    Thank you.

He doesn't have what I would call "my support". That implies that I trust him a bit. I do not.
Are you asking what he'd have to do for me to call for his literal head? Violate the constitution. So far he hasn't done that.

I reject your premise it's not the # but the what. Is there a specific number of times he can be politically incorrect? No!!!! Because I don't ****ing care. Even if he does say somethings that are over my personal line that is what the people voted for. Everyone knew Trump was rude and politically incorrect. It's immoral to try and throw an elected official out if office for something the people knew when they voted for him.

Even if he did say "shithole" so what? One of the reasons you and so many others believe it is because that sound like Trump. Trying to throw him out if office for being the guy the people knowingly elected is way more immoral and evil than calling Hati a shithole.

    Edit: sorry I missread

#1 Appointing a liberal to the Supreme Court.

If on the second term he fails to establish one on one trading deals I would feel that everything will slowly fall apart.

I am satisfied with a little progress in all the areas he promised even if they are not in full because than means we took a step in the right direction and the results were good so more would be willing to do so again.

If he actually physically or actively used the law to silence people because he did not like their opinions I would be against him. Using free speech no matter how rough to counter verbal attacks is great but not active tyranny. I wish he would do more to support the growth of free lance and small press but it wasn't what he campaigned on.

    - If he amnesties illegal immigrants (any significant percentage)

    - If he turns Iran into the new Syria (any kind of warmongering in Iran such as funding MEK or similar jihadists to overthrow the regime)

    - If he limits personal freedoms

    - If he goes batshit crazy with nukes (duh).

Trump is not part of the DC cabal in which there are few distinctions between the GOP establishment and the Democrats. If he developed a pattern of caving, especially to the Dems, and departed from his aggressive posture on what needs to happen for America become great again then I would walk. So far I don't see this happening nor believe it ever would. Donald Trump may not be as refined as the hypocritical snobs of left would like however his gruff demeanor has it's charms. Donald Trump is the first president since Reagan that shows some balls. He takes no crap from anyone and will leave America light years better than he found and God knows it was in shambles.

If he stopped trying to do what he said he would. If Lindsey Graham starts to love him I'm going to take a hard look at my position.

Since he has been the most conservative President in modern history, he is entitled to a mistake or two.

If by 2020 he fails to deliver on some of his campaign promises we will evaluate whether he did not try, sold out or was sabotaged by the swamp. Then we will see what his alternatives (republicans during the primaries and democrats) are, swamp creatures, globalists, pragmatists or whatever... Then we'll review our options for the next 4 years

Trust me, this liberal howling, screaming, hysteria and hatred, manufactured outrages and witch hunts won't be a factor against Trump, they may well be big factors in his favor.

If he is unable to coincide budget cuts to align with the tax cuts, I will have a hard time considering his policies a success.

Lindsey Graham has been trying to get to know Trump quite a bit in the last few months, going golfing with him a couple of times. I don’t think it’s cause for concern (yet) though.

Naturally there are lots of things that would make me stop supporting Trump. Without listing a #1 or making a laundry list I will say -- if he started supporting the causes that caused me to change from a democrat to a republican then he would lose my support.

    1. Amnesty
    2. Not build the wall
    3. Shrink government
    4. Kill the Democrat Party for good

I think he is doing a pretty good job fighting an up hill battle against all of the forces arrayed against him

I do believe he can succeed as long as the American People stand behind him.

His people stand behind him, not the American People. The election result in Wisconsin is proof of that.
