The people want less immigration

Based upon the poll that the Washington Times is citing it appears that a majority of the country agrees with Trump on the wall and the amount of illegal immigration into this country. They also want less legal immigration.

This debate stems from the "Dreamers" and I have lived long enough to remember this talk before about the people that are already here. Until the amount of people streaming into this country is halted, there will always be "Dreamers".

Yet Americans overwhelmingly want the Dreamers here on a path to citizenship. If that happens, 14th Amendment (due process) will mean that their family members are eligible for immigration.

Based upon this information WHITES are the least in the age groups until they hit 50 and that's still not a lot given the other ethnic groups shown. We do have a race problem in America, but it doesn't appear it's coming from young WHITE Christians......if it is even a Christian problem.....which I doubt.

Not to mention the U.S. taxpayer paid for the birth of those five little newly minted USCs. And now we get to pay for their free bi-lingual education and health care for the next 18 years. Meanwhile, when Juan and Maria get ill they trundle down to the local ER and get issued a 'temporary' Medicaid card for their illness. But you're probably right........'illegals' aren't eligible for any 'welfare'........LOL at the ignorance of the American voter on this issue

Okay. So, how'd illegal immigrants mama y papa pay doc to deliver the dear little dreamer? Is the doctor who got called in the hospital liable for the safety of the delivery? What happens if something goes wrong? Are the illegal immigrants entitled to legal representation? Can they sue? Who is paying for the hospital room? Who is paying for the medical services? Who is paying for the incubator? Who is paying for mom's medical care?

But if the parents (or mothers at least) hadn't come here illegally to birth their anchor babies in the first place, we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

Perhaps part of the immigration overhaul should deal with the anchor baby issue. No more automatic citizenship for anchor babies, and you remove one big incentive for illegals to come here.

 

The kids are citizens, champ, and they have the rights of citizens.

 

Ha. Dreamers. They're illegal immigrants looking for a free meal ticket. Tell it like it is.

Dreamers go through the immigration line the right way and typically tend to want to earn their dream the right way.

End of the day, subsidizing illegal immigration causes more of it.

Build the Wall, physical, electronic, 360 degrees with rapid deployment intervention and immediate return to the other side. Strengthen visa enforcement and limit those special ones like for Silicon Valley while qualified American labor exists. etc. And create a proper program for those Agriculture workers from south of the border we depend on for apples, lettuce, etc.

I find it less distasteful than deportation of good, hard working, tax paying people with no police record.


Too bad Reagan didn't accomplish better border security when his amnesty went into effect.

It was 20 freaking years ago. What did you expect Trump to do, require his subcontractors use e-verify, LOL?
