If Trump burned everybody alive who didn't vote for him, would you then condemn him?

Many many Trump supporters approve, yes approve, of the concept of "vote for me or I'll see that you burn in a lake of fire", because many many Trump supporters approve of the Bible/Jesus, which is exactly the same thing. I'm showing how those Trump supporters are immoral people.

You failed the moral test that is the OP. A simple "yes, I'd condemn Trump and Jesus if that was the case", is the most moral answer.

We can cut to the chase and just have me post a picture of my genitalia, if you'd like.

Do you mean something like metaphorically toss them under the bus like Socialistic/Marxist race-baiting race-agitating Obama tossed about half this nation as president? Or do you mean actual fire? By the way it's probably not a good idea to post while fall down drunk or stoned out of one's gourd. Just saying.

So then we can all agree that Trump, since he is NOT so immoral as to approve of the burning alive of people who simply don't vote for Trump, is more ethical than Jesus because Jesus does approve of the burning alive of those that do not "vote" for Jesus.

Ah. As a paralel to Christianity.

It is quite unfortunate that Christians have allowed themselves to be led to that doctrine.

I see Hell as simply an alternative to Heaven. Its common for atheists to muse that if Heaven were real, they would not enjoy it, basking in God's presence for all eternity. Thats why there must be a Hell- an existance void of God. If there were not an alternative to Heaven, if your ultimate path led you to heaven regardless of your will, there would not really be Free Will.

As far as the torture goes- Hell is void of Love and Joy because those things are God. Our spirit exists in Gods presence, and those emotions exist as a result of His presence. If you choose to be void of God, then you choose to be void of Love and Joy, and you choose the presence of others who also have rejected Love and Joy (or you choose to be entirely alone in your eternal existance, depending on which interpretive philosophy you subscribe to).

But I also don't believe you have to take my word for it. When Jesus sacrificed himself to solidify our freedom to choose our ultimate fate, he 'went to preach to the imprisoned' which makes sence to me that he went to preach to those who are dead and awaiting 'judgement.' I believe that before you choose your 'eternal existance', Jesus Himself will make the Truth known to you and your choice will be from a position of full knowledge of what you're 'getting in to.'

To summarize- God isn't 'burning' anyone. We may simply choose to 'burn' ourselves.

This is not mainstream Christian Orthodoxy of course. But Im not an Orthodox Christian either. Im more of a 'Christian Humanist' as it were. At any rate, I would never attempt to tell someone how they should interpret The Word of God. I simply think we're meant to share our own interpretations and perspectives so we can increase our own perspective. Each individuals relationship with God (or lack thereof) is ultimately between them and Him, and anyone who would seek to insert themselves as a third party in that has ulterior motives. So believe what you Will.

Got news for you. Your "fellow man" is neither your partner- or loyal to you. There are all kinds of people in the world, good and bad, honest and crooked, deserving and conniving. The majority are looking out for themselves, and few of them really give a damn about you. Those who think they are caring for their fellow man and doing humanitarian things are often buying a feeling of righteousness for themselves- and giving away things to people who see them it as owed to them. That serves not to lift them up, but to make them dependent and expect more. By your concept, Kim Jong Un is your fellow man- as was Hitler.

Discrimination is a critical skill in life. In this instance, It is knowing the difference between people who genuinely benefit from and are lifted by a hand-up, and those who are seeking your hand-out to be indefinitely dependent (and a parasite on the rest of us) who also think you a fool for doing so. You HARM those people by supporting the idea that they are not responsible for themselves. HARM them.

Loyalty (and help) goes to people who deserve it because of their own values and efforts, not to those who demand it and try to get things from others by shaming them and claiming they are so deserving. If you are unable to tell the difference, settle for not doing harm instead of encouraging the worst of humanity by giving the nation away stupidly.

Hmm, personally burn ? That would take up too much of the Presidents precious time. And the extra carbon in the atmosphere from all the burning ! OMG !

There are better ways. Non Trump voters will be identified and interviewed. Those that has seen the light an are now with the POTUS will be sent on their way.

Stalwarts will be sent to re-education camps. (Details will need sorting out.)

Resisters will be sent directly to confinement areas and the healthiest will be selected for useful work assignments.

There is an opt out for non Trump voters to simply move to another country and do as they like there. Spreading communism, ranting about Nixon, or what have you.

I thought your op was tongue in cheek. But I see that you are serious. First off, Trump is not God or perfect. So no, obviously I would not support his killing those who do not support him. Neither does our constitution.

Second, I believe that God is perfect. And I trust in his judgment, even though I have to revisit or recall the concept from time to time. Which is usually when I am called to faith and mercy. And I don't want to be mercifull and have faith. So I fight against it. And it is then that I follow my heart or my love for God, and put down my rebellious intentions or spirit in concession to the truest mercy I've ever known. Otherwise, I'd be at war with myself. And God would not have to put me in hell as I would put my own self there by seeking to destroy the Godliness in me, the source of light and conscience that attended me and which attends us all into life in the first place. Pride is deadly.

Id give an obligatory half hearted condemnation.

But I'd still vote Trump a second time.

I've condemned the rapist Slick Willie, and his sexual-harassment enabling wife many many times on this forum, so yes, I would.
